Here are items that would improve your park… 1) provide standard welcome package (map and other basics/rules) upon after-hour arrival; 2) clean site (remove trash from fire pit); 3) create a culvert for run-off rather than make-shift ditch; 4) paint (or do anything) to improve floors in shower stalls; and 5) water your tired/thirsty plants in common areas. Real basic stuff would help your otherwise nice park with friendly staff.

Sunday October 5, 2025. If zero stars were available that is what I would be giving. Rudest customer service I have had to deal with in a very long time. We were with a large group. We were told that check in time was at 2pm. It was after 3pm before they started taking us to our sites. Our rigs were stacked up out onto the highway. Once we were taken to our site there was someone already in there. They were not with our group. I asked the woman who was driving the golf cart to move them. She stated no. She started giving excuses and I told her I didn't care what happened in their office. That we were given a certain site and we wanted that site. She proceeded to throw her hand up in my face and drove off in her golf cart. She then proceeded to yell at our host and tell her that we had two choices. Take one of two other sites or leave the park. Yes, she said that. Our host told her we were not leaving. If this were a nice park some things can be overlooked. However, this place is a dump from the dusty gravel sites that turned into sinking mud pits when it rained, to the rutted washed out roads that turned into mud pits when it rained, to the many permanent trailers that are unkempt to the rude workers. First and foremost the extremely rude female employee who was working Sunday October 5, 2025. Thank goodness we were only there for two nights.

Rivertown Rose was perfectly located to spend some time around Vicksburg and the Mississippi River. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Laundry and shower/bathroom facilities were excellent as well. The only negatives that we experienced were weak WiFi signal and the horrible trench that you must drive over when entering and exiting the park. A proper drain should be installed under the driveway and covered up to avoid further erosion.

This place was a great choice for us to overnight before heading home. I was very impressed with the bath house. It was VERY clean and both shower and toilet doors had locks (as pictured). It was a very easy place to get into and leave. The price was definitely reasonable. All the workers were very knowledgeable, professional, and extremely nice. I would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a short or long stay.

Riverton Rose Campground was an excellent stay, clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The grounds were tidy, the hookups were in great condition, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. But what truly made this place stand out was the outstanding hospitality from Elizabeth. When I made a mistake while booking and accidentally reserved the wrong dates, Elizabeth handled it with a smile and no hassle. She quickly got it sorted out and made us feel completely at ease. Upon arrival, she went above and beyond—taking time to personally walk us through all the local highlights, including great places to eat, things to do in the area, and local tips you won’t find in a brochure. We’ve stayed at hundreds of RV parks over the years, and it’s rare to come across someone who cares as much as she does. Elizabeth is the reason this campground stands out from the rest. Her warmth, professionalism, and personal touch made our stay one of the best we’ve ever had. Riverton Rose isn’t just a great place to park your RV—it’s a place where you truly feel welcome.

When I tell you this by far the best RV park I have been in. It's hone for me. ELIZABETH is the greatest on site manager. She keeps me informed, she keeps the overall operation of the park running.As packed as we are over hear there is. No noise, trash let running around. Very clean and well run sight. We were visiting for tourism and it was perfectly located and easy to access. Bathrooms were spotless. Very quiet despite being just off highway. Great communication and information prior to visit. Felt safe and welcome.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. Dependable utilities. Nice laundry. Large RV park. Gravel. Site not level. Restrooms were clean but old and tired looking. Lots of long-termers.- and they are scattered among to short-stayers. During our 3 night stay there was never any poop bags at the one dog station we found. We would probably stay here again but only for an overnight. Undependable WiFi and ATT and Verizon coverage weak.

Convenient location. Clean park and bathrooms. Showers were nice and big! Host was very friendly and welcoming. Only downside, one evening there was heavy helicopter traffic at the adjacent airport. It ended about 9 pm so not a big deal.

Wonderful place to stay. Easy location to find. It's very well kept, great walking trails. And the best part is, that the dog park is just across the highway. Nice clean restrooms. And wonderful laundry room as well. Great place to stay if your working at Grand Gulf Nuclear plant. Great rates as well. Nice play ground for the kids. And it located not to far from town. Maybe 10 min down the Rd. My only complaint is the wifi is a little weak. But other then that it's great place.

Very nice park. The staff are always friendly and try to accommodate you on your sites. Very convenient off the road. Nice pull through sites.

We were able to stay at this amazingly clean and friendly campground. We had only planned to stay 3 days but ended up extending our stay for a week. Clean bathrooms and showers. Laundry room available, just make sure you go to the office for quarters if you need them. The staff is wonderful and keep this campground very clean and tidy.

Great campground to stay at if you want to explore Vicksburg. The battlefield is amazing!! The only reason they did not receive 5 stars is because they don't have or rent fire rings.

No fire rings. There is a picnic table. Table was in great shape. The pool was closed for the season. Staff in the office were friendly and helpful. They allowed us to receive mail while here along with Amazon boxes. There are quite a few permanent campers here but all are very well maintained and their area kept up. Nice trees through the campground but need to trimmed so the branches do not hit the roof of the trailers. Nice spacing between the sites. Very quiet. Sites are very level and plenty big enough for our dually truck and 42’ fifth wheel. All hook ups are at the very back of the site so park your RV at the end of the site. Lots of ants on the utility poles. Very dusty due to dirt/ gravel roads. The speed limit is not enforced and in fact, staff of the park go very fast through the park which only makes the dust worst. We were there on a day when they mowed and our truck was so dirty from the dust, we had to wash the windows before we could drive it. Internet did not work the first 6 days we were here. After that, it worked about 70% of the time. The cable worked about 80% of the time.
