I'm happy to say 2025 has been a good year at Red Haw. Charlie and I (KrysAnn) are this year's Camp Host. We plan to come back next year. It was busy but we got a chance to meet some really nice people. Working with Riley Henry the Park Manager has been fun. We have learned a lot from each other. Carey Joe our 2.5 y.o. Antolian Great Pyrnese will miss her buddy. She has made a life long friend and will look forward to seeing Riley Henry in the spring when we come back for 2026.

We really enjoyed visiting here and will definitely visit this park on our next trip through. It is great for kids, pets, and just going for a walk or bike ride.

Nice park and facility, the camping was great as well, until they doubled up the spots.

The Park is very well maintained, very near the River. There is a variety of sites. The Rest Rooms are maintained, but there could be more. The only real downside is that the Highway traffic is not muffled at all.

Campgrounds in need of a law mower. You have quite a bit of space to enjoy and relax. Although it close to the main road, if you camp on the Westside you can hear an occasional loud car/truck or motorcycle but not bad. You have to have a code to get into the restroom. Bathrooms not in the best shape during our 3 day stay..... in need of a good cleaning. Also motion lights in bathrooms are weird. You might want to take a flashlight with you even in the day time for they are really dark inside before light comes on and it will go off on you if you are in a stall for more then 3 minutes.

With a campground, hiking and biking trail, dog parks, and multiple playgrounds this park has everything! Whether you want to take your kids for a picnic or have a family reunions at the historic log cabin or one of the many shelters, this place has it all! Always well groomed, plenty of room to play, and they even have tennis courts! This is a Marshalltown attraction unlike any other!
