Not what I thought it was going to look like. View off the river is beautiful, but appears those sites are all long term. Overgrown weeds off the canal side. Not safe for my son to fish from, which in the comments it stated " fish from your site". Owner helpful with concerns but overall low quality.

Disappointing Stay – Needs Major Attention We were drawn to this campground by the photos online, which showed well-landscaped sites and a clean, inviting environment. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. The grounds have clearly not been maintained in some time—overgrown areas, thick weeds, and long-term campers with grungy setups give the whole place a neglected feel. There is no Wi-Fi, which we could have managed if the rest of the infrastructure was up to par, but it wasn’t. One of the docks is coming loose from the walkway and feels unsafe to use, while the other is nearly inaccessible due to overgrowth. Water pressure was consistently low at 35–36 psi, which caused issues with our tankless water heater, making basic needs frustrating. While the person we spoke with on the phone was friendly, there was no follow-up and no physical presence on-site to address concerns. The lack of a camp host or office left us feeling unsupported and uncomfortable. This campground has potential, but it badly needs maintenance, management presence, and honest representation. We would not stay here again unless significant improvements are made.

This place was easy to find, clean, and looked just like the pictures posted on their website. I stayed in Tiny Home 1- Shady Haven. Two people fit comfortably. The hot tub was the icing on the cake for my daughter's birthday weekend.

Enjoyed our stay in Dan’s cabin right on the Mississippi River just South of Lock & Dam #12.
