Riverview RV Park

We stayed here a couple weeks ago and had a lovely experience. All employees we interacted with were kind and helpful. It's a huge park with lots of trees and open areas and a path by the river. Great place to walk our dogs. We were supposed to return this week after visiting family in Nebraska. However, our truck completely died and as full-time RVers, that means we are stuck until we can purchase a new truck. We called to let Riverview know we couldn't make it and they were so, so understanding. We only had to pay a small fee for our cancelation, despite the late notice. We have family in this area and visit multiple times a year. Riverview will now be our permanent choice for where to stay!

I loved being close to town but also feeling like being in the wilderness. The spaces were very close together, not very level and not great to sit out and enjoy or sit up a pen for our pups. We also was not told that you could not pick up any television stations even with an antenna.

It was a beautiful park. Very spacious spaces. You are able to fish in the river the entire length of the RV park. When we were there and I believe every Sat night in the summer there is a concert at the little park there. Bring your chairs any beverages. And enjoy your self. Very nice people in the office will definitely be back.

I love this campground! The office staff is friendly and professional... like 5-star hotel professional! I like that the campsites and roads are gravel and dirt. I like to walk around, look at other rigs, and talk to other campers, and gravel is easier on my feet and legs than concrete. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The showers had warm water. It's quiet. There is a dirt trail all around the campground, and part of it goes along the Big Thompson River with stunning views. There are lots of trees for shade. It's conveniently located to everything you could need or want.

We're here now and it's is such a lovely place, we dont live far but are new to having a camper so we wanted to try it out close by for the 1st trip, it has been so much fun. There's stuff for the kids to do, activities a park for them to play, everyone has been so sweet from the employees to the neighbors. Hooks ups are nice the whole area is just great, tons of shade all over we will definitely be making this our go to spot for quick getaways!

Great staff! Very helpful. RVs are close together. Bathrooms were clean but if both of the shower rooms were being used at the same time, one person doesn't get hot water. Large separate outside sink by the bathrooms was nice.

So love the space with the river and the amenities. But they do have issues with dogs in rv's that don't do well with distractions other than a night or 2 unless , spaces are very close and not much privacy due to the closeness of vehicles. And also don't really pay attention to who speeds but bit will tag you for it. Also they have a sign outside if the office that claims if your RV looks too old or isn't within their specifications they have the right to not rent a spot to you... Just beware they pick and choose and will ask you to leave for a policy they notify you about with the 3 level notification they require and a slip of paper noting those requirements. Just as a warning for people that come to this place looking for laid back RV parks

We are currently staying here at at the end of our two weeks! I don’t wanna go! I’m his park is absolutely amazing! We had a really bad experience at the park we were at before here so this has been a breath of fresh air...literally! Beautiful well cared for grounds! Quiet! I read reviews prior to coming regarding water yet we have not had one issue! Bathrooms are clean! The live music is great! I have zero complaints and will definitely be coming back!

The overall park is nice and the staff is friendly but very busy. The entrance has a bridge over a creek which is nice ambiance. There is a big playground for the kids and plenty of outdoor area to walk dogs. A large portion of the spots are for full timers or seasonal guests so you need to book in advance which is common these days. The spot we ended up with was very odd. It's basically a mound between two ditches with about 18in to 2ft on either side (recommend pulling to your preferred side). Our group had a couple slips and falls on the slopes during setup but nothing major. The mound has a different grade on each end. One is gradual for going up and the other a bit more steep for leaving. You may be able to pull in the opposite way but I did not have the ground clearance. The utilities are to the front side so bring your extension hoses and cords. Depending on your length you may be able to get within 20ft. I was pretty close to making it. The fire pit appears to be shared between two sites on the opposite side of the utilities on the front side.
