The park is welcoming to all types of campers and has a really friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The hot showers are a huge plus after a long day on the road, and the facilities are well-kept. What makes this place stand out is the private beach—quiet, clean, and the perfect spot to relax and recharge. We stayed at this RV resort a few weeks ago for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Peter, the owner was accommodating and very friendly. The park has a family vibe and we felt right at home, going to the main office area for coffee and doughnuts and going again for a lovely bbq. There is clean laundry and showers available and full hookups. The small sandy beach is beautiful, private and about a minute walk from most of the sites, making it easy to take supplies, drinks, snacks etc., or a quick walk back to the campsite for anything forgotten. The park provides chairs and loungers for campers use. The river is shallow and if you have a tube or paddle board you can float down the river and paddle back up. The water was warm and clear. They have a little mini golf course and a playground for the children. There were other things to do outside the resort as well. Grand Forks was nearby with shopping, food and great biking or walking trails. We went to visit a waterfall and a canyon in nearby Christina Lake and spent some time on the riverbank relaxing. A beautiful area and a lovely campground to stay in.
