We We rented a cabin for our friends, and a campsite for ourselves. The campsite was on the side of a steep hill we almost lost our camper rolling down the embankment. The cabin was full of cobwebs dirty windows and broken appliances. The view was beautiful though. Needless to say we won't be going back.

Beautiful place. Quiet retreat with exceptional views. Great for stargazing. Driving through the surrounding areas offers breathtaking views. The local markets are incomparable. Fresh local produce, meats, and prepared foods were delightful. There are so many wonderful places to explore nearby. This is my third visit to this ideal campground location.

If I could give this campground zero stars, I would. We've been full-time Thousand Trails members for over 5 years and have stayed at nearly 50 different campgrounds, including Encore locations, across the US. Robin Hill in Pennsylvania was by far the worst experience we've ever had. We arrived yesterday at 4:15 PM, a little over an hour after the 3:00 PM check-in time, to find the office already closed. The site we were assigned was too small for our trailer, there was no way we could safely fit. We immediately called the phone number listed for the campground to get help or a site reassignment, but received no answer, no call back, and absolutely no direction on how to proceed. With no staff in sight, we had no choice but to park in a nearby open site that our trailer fit into and where all of our hookups (water, electric, and sewer) could reach properly. We finally got a return call, not until this morning at 9:30 AM, and were told we had to move to the original site we were assigned. We explained again that our trailer physically couldn’t fit, and that we were already safely hooked up in a functioning spot. Their response? “Move to the assigned site or leave.” We asked why they couldn’t assign the tight site to a smaller rig, a common and completely reasonable request we've made at many other Thousand Trails parks without issue. Their answer? "We don’t do that here." This is absolutely unacceptable. Every other campground we’ve visited in the Thousand Trails network has worked with us when a site didn’t fit, the staff has always been kind, helpful and accommodating. But not here. The lady at the front desk was rude, unprofessional, and outright hostile, literally yelling at us to leave. We were shocked. The campground itself is run-down, poorly maintained, and the management clearly has no regard for customer service or long-time Thousand Trails members. This kind of treatment is not just frustrating, it's a serious issue for full-time Thousand Trails members who rely on these campgrounds as their homes. Thankfully, we had family nearby to stay with temporarily, but if we didn’t, we would have been scrambling to find last minute accommodations during Labor Day weekend, when availability is scarce and prices are through the roof. That’s an incredibly stressful position to be in, all because of this park’s mismanagement and unwillingness to be flexible. Thousand Trails should seriously reconsider affiliating with this location. It reflects terribly on the brand and does a huge disservice to loyal members. We will never return to Robin Hill. Ever.

We drive from Florida to Connecticut once a year and we decided to spend a night here to try it but we will not come back. The signs for the office are small and old, to get to the office you climb a steep hill and it definitely sounded like we bottomed out. I had been getting emails and texts for 2 days about our stay but the staff is definitely not as friendly as their correspondence. Our site was too small, I called the office 3x before someone answered, she said your camper and the site are both 34 feet so you should fit, if you park bumper to bumper with the guy behind you and dodge the trees on both sides. We asked for the pull through across the street, nope it was taken but it was still empty the next morning. We never unhook for one night but in their sites you have no choice because your vehicle would be in the street. I told her we checked in at 4 pm and we would be gone by 9 am the next day so was there any other spot available, we went from C5 to C7 and still had to unhook but at least no one was DIRECTLY behind us. They do have some great spots but it seems they only cater to the people that live there. $91 a night is high and even with our Military discount it was high. The bathrooms are old and gross. We stayed at another Thousand Trails in South Carolina, they also have permanent residents but the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating when we stayed for 3 days.

This campground is so nice and it’s sad to say that the management team is extremely racist. As you can imagine, not many people of color stay at this campsite. I have a biracial family. Numerous times we were badgered and questioned every time we went anywhere on the site. We were continually asked if we were registered to stay any time Carissa saw us. She tried to double charge us for our stay in the beginning as well. Stating it was 14 a night for guests ,when a sign right in front of us clearly said it was $7 a night per guest. When brought to her attention that I saw the sign the price I had to pay dropped. When we went to get registered we did not have a site holder with us and it was made clear we were staying overnight at the campground. After numerous days of us being at the campground she ran after us as we were walking into the pool area and said “you guys aren’t registered” and knew our site holders by name (which means it was definitely planned for this lady to come up to us and claim we weren’t registered). I asked her immediately “are you asking everyone who walks to the pool if they are registered ?” She said “yes” and walked back into the office. Numerous people (not people of color) arrived at the pool before and after this without being questioned about being registered. We went to go get the site holder and All of a sudden we aren’t able to stay without a site holder present at all times. Never was an issue until we brought my husband and child of color to this campground. On their website it says nowhere that campsite holder has to be present. It states we are able to stay if we are registered at the main office. It’s really a shame to see such hate exists anymore. Even if you aren’t directly affected by racism I strongly recommend not spending your money here. We will be moving campsites.

Kids had fun. Great views. Lots of annual tenants, so does not leave for traveling campers. Some sites need some leveling work. Bathrooms were very nice ( looks newly renovated)

Property was beautiful, most of the people were not. Very tight knit community of year round tenants. Office staff was very rude almost every time. We stayed for 21 nights and couldn't wait to leave. Best part every day was the ducks on the pond across from our spot. Didn't feel welcomed in the slightest.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! QUIET, PEACE serene environment. We got a cottage, and it was an amazing experience. Golf cart rental, campground activities, friendly staff and residents (both vacationers, and lot residents), cool lil office store with souvenirs and good food. There's a decent pool with a kiddie section, plenty of space to walk around, hang around a campfire or just look at the ducks and frogs in the gigantic pond. A must go-to getaway vacation and will surely be back.

I had the opportunity to spend a few days here within the last couple weeks. I had a blast. Guests, annuals, workers, everybody was so friendly and really cool to be around. I'm an avid fisherman and the pond there is awesome. There are so many nice fish in there, definitely worth sitting around all day in the sun. I also got to participate in the golf cart parade among other things and it was great. All around really awesome place. It's very hard to find the views this place offers. Also the bathrooms were extremely clean and didn't smell like butt. This place is a hidden gem. I saw firsthand how hard the workers work to keep this place going and make it the best time for everyone. It's like a close knit community, everybody always willing to help anybody in need or stop and say hello. I look forward to coming back again soon.
