Robson River Campground

A beautiful campground surrounded by nature in Mount Robson Provincial Park. Perfect location just 5 minutes from the Mount Robson visitor centre and stunning Kinney Lake trail head. There is a path from the campground which leads directly to the Robson River. We were parked in site number 23 which had a picnic bench, firepit and electrical hook up and didn’t notice any road noise (as noted in other reviews). Reservations must be made in advance to guarantee a site. Flushing toilets & showers available. No mobile phone service. Drinking water available and sani waste dumping available 5 mins up the road at the visitor centre.

Love the park in general. BC parks does an awesome job maintaining and had really nice facilities. Honestly, its just really loud right next to the highway in a tent. Maybe thats on us a bit, but we thought thered be a little more barrier of trees based on our maps/usual campground location. Our site could have been a little unlucky too, probably a little better on riverside of campground. Cool short walk to river though!

Quiet and smaller campground. Easy short hike down to the river and great views of Mount Robson if sky is clear. Self check in and staff come by your site to confirm.

Overall pretty good- traffic noise from the highway as expected. When the Parks staff came by initially, she asked if we would need fire wood, and added the “W” tag to our reservation as expected, and she said they’d be about an hour behind her. Unfortunately nobody came by with wood that night. We did see the Parks pickup truck zip through around 9:30pm but they hauled out fast without stopping. I noticed in the morning that many people still had their “W” tags up as well. Power hookups at site R41 worked well. Pit toilets were clean and not stinky.

Great spot! Tree, decent showers, good flush and clean pit toilets. Firewood was delivered several tomes a day $10 for 8 pieces of split wood. Trail to Robson river was close. Lots of sun when we went. Temps got up to the 40deg mark. I didn’t want to leave. Water and power at the site i picked. No loud people. People kept dogs quiet. Would return for sure
