First and last time camping here. The park is not well maintained, drinking water locations on the map are non-potable, washrooms not clean and empty hand sanitizer stations anywhere. The best part though is the staff are among the worst offenders...the staff camping area was partying until I walked over at 1am to tell them to shut it down. Then, other campers arrived and there was a disagreement over the group site with absolutely no help from the part whatsoever so we decided to just pack up and leave early. The only good thing about this place is the view. Long story short the park staff give zero concern to your experience as long as you pay up. I asked to speak with a manager over a week ago, still nothing and I won't hold my breath for any ownership of their terrible customer service.

This place is fantastic if you want to pay motel rates to have bush camping standards! Absolutely no enforcement of any rules. Fire works at random sites at all hours of the night despite high fire risk, a quiet time rule that nobody respects, and the listed phone number for after hour concerns is literally just the police lmao. Paid a bunch of extra money to have a tent on the same lot as a camper which didn't feel necessary. Public trails just Willy nilly through camp sites so virtually no privacy. If you're looking to park an RV to conduct some sketchy business this place is perfect because they don't care what you're getting up to as long as you pay them.

Campsites were very tidy, beach area was open and clean. Lots of restroom facilities across the area. Over all enjoyable experience. Lake experience water was very shallow, 100ft before reaching waist. Water shoes recommended as entry to water is rocky

I stopped in on Sunday for some fishing at the boat launch. The grounds and beach are very well kept, the boat launch is nice and there are bathrooms. It looks like it would be a great place to camp or visit on a day trip in the summer.

Very nice small but rocky beach. Please note tried to go to Boss Hill (Buffalo Lake Recreational park) for day use but it was closed. Instead of finding out and driving in a sign should be put up on highway 56 corner.
