We enjoyed our 6 day stay at Sun Retreats Crystal River. We had site 73. It is very wooded and near the shower room. Showers are kept cool and each shower had its own toilet. WiFi was good and allowed us to watch TV on YouTube TV. Town and many restaurants are within 7 miles. Previous reviews complained about homeless issues and packages stolen but we saw none of that and ordered Amazon and the driver delivered it to our door. Gates were always shut. We hope to visit again.

Had an absolute amazing family vacation! The cabin was cute and cozy. Equipped with everything we needed. Location was great and close to all the things! They were also very responsive and respectful even with someone like me who just always has a lot of question ☺️ thank you so much we will be back!!

Location is beautiful, it gives you a sense of calm and peace. Service is amazing all the workers seem very kind and very attentive to everyone’s needs, rooms are spotless always a pleasure to stay here with my family!

Didn’t feel safe. No security available at night, despite being told it was secured. The gates aren’t closed. Because of the gates not closed and no security, homeless people occupy the public bathrooms and wander the park during the night who would leave messes and harass paying park members. Packages are stolen from the office despite being told they’d be secured. Do not live here. Be vary cautious and careful if you are just visiting.

The pool was nice and clean despite a bit of screen repair needed. The Hot tub is out of order. Spoke to other people it's been out of order for a while. The overall RV resort is very pleasant, welcoming and clean. Few notes they do have a fence in dog run. They have a playground. No workout room is a bummer.

We enjoyed our camping experience here. The park was clean and the people were very friendly. There is lots to do in the area.

The property is geared for full time/seasonal renters. We are traveling full time and the site we were assigned is best described as grim. We were given site 110, which is a buddy site to #111 where both RV doors face your neighbor. Great when you know them. Not so great when you don't and they don't care that they have neighbors. Our first neighbors had moved into their space and made our space pretty small, and creepy, kind of like their rig with the delaminated siding and AC unit hanging out of a window, sealed with duct tape. We ended up not unloading our grill as it felt we would be cooking in our neighbor's slot. Our first neighbors also left a mess of the grounds and an unwanted barbeque for the next folks. No one from the park policed the area after the guests left so the next group had to deal with the mess. The next neighbors were great and we both felt that folks like us that were passing through definitely drew the short straw on nice sites. The park is definitely geared to accommodate seasonal, long term clients. Travelers might do better looking elsewhere.

A large, unique stay especially around Christmas when we were passing through. The more permanent residents had some crafty lights, reindeer, Santa's, elves, and other Holiday fare out for display. With a nice clubhouse with activities, a great pool, and a dog park with a yeti nearby; it became a great stay to kick around the area for our little Christmas adventure this year. Swing in and rent a golf cart to ride around and see the amenities!

I took advantage of a 12 month special promotion they were doing over a year ago, and was fortunate to get a site close to the showers & laundry. They were also doing a 2 year deal that included paving your site including a side area with fire ring plus a storage shed that many others were doing. Lots of full time residents there. Most are happy, and some are grumpy. Everything is well maintained. Pool is nice. Very little night lighting, so bring flashlights. But most don’t do much outside other than walking their dogs. No loud party weekenders like the waterfront RV parks I tried. Security gates are nice too. I moved to a house and gave up my site when the 12 months were up. Someone else moved in the next day.

Manager Steve can go away! He is nasty and mean. Looks down on you and not friendly at all. The employees that have been there for years look exhausted and aren't the friendly happy people they were. Many of us campers are talking about not coming back. The park looks dirty and not kept up with. Been here 3 years and it just went down hill. They want to push people around. Not the rock crusher we fell in love with.
