We had a great stay at the Rock Springs / Green River KOA Journey! The campground was clean, quiet, and well maintained, with easy access from the highway. Our site was level and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. It's a convenient stop for RV travelers, we'll definitely stay here again when passing through Wyoming!

The KOA is just off 80 located behind an industrial/refinery facility. It's really just a gravel lot, no grass. Any grass you may find has dog feces in it. The dog park really needs to be cleaned. I wouldn't even step inside it out of concern for my dogs exposure to all that feces. I tried to do some trails with my dog back by the long term parking. It wasn't even passable with all the dog waste absolutely everywhere. Very unsanitary and disgusting. One night I was in the woman's bathroom. 2 young boys were using the bathroom too. I didn't say anything until their dad just walks right in. Into the woman's restroom that supposedly has a security code on the door. That did not make me feel safe at all. I could have been showering. How do men have the woman's bathroom code!? When I pass through again, I won't be staying here, even if it was just for the night. The only real reason for the 1 star was it was cheap and the staff was polite.

Nice level spots unless you get placed on the far end off the property up by the long term residents. Weeds growing around the units, They state there is a dog park but it is at the far end away from your location not very well maintained . Three shower houses close by. But they were all closed down . Was placed up by the long-term residents who were workers who left at six am. Don't blame the workers Seems like there was better spots to place nightly guest. For $77.00. Not worth it. Bad representation for a KOA

Keep on driving. This place is a gravel parking lot with hookups. The staff put us and our two travel companions in spaces that were clearly not adequate for a 40 ft and tow vehicle and insisted there was plenty of room. We were hanging out in the road and had to move the picnic tables to even get turned into the space. When we complained they put us in a back lot. The spaces were still too short but no one else was back there so we made it work. The rows next to us were clearly long term rentals. Surprised a KOA would allow that. All in all it’s dusty, weeds everywhere and not well maintained or managed.

More of an RV park. Definitely not worth the $60 something dollars for the tent sites. Right off the highway so good if you’re in a pinch to stay somewhere. Definitely would not stay more than 1 night, all gravel and no views. Honestly would have just primitive camped somewhere if I could have received a refund. Only plus were the nice people up front and the clean bathrooms. Otherwise would pass.

Poor KOA. Sites are back to back facing your neighbor with just room for picnic between you. Very tight. All of park is Gravel, no shade, no grass. Even the playground is gravel. Highest price I have paid during a 9 state trip. I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium resort. This one of not a premium resort.

A good spot for a one night stop. Close to I80. Gravel, uneven, poorly marked sites. Gorgeous view. Quiet Missed the usual KOA greeting and site guide

Stayed here for an overnight and did late check-in on my way to vacation and on the way back. Did not have any interaction with staff, but my check-in papers were always available and the amenities were decent. I like that it is open year-round, which was great for this winter vacation.

I've stayed at several different KOAs across the country, and this one is the most welcoming, well-run, and nicest I've had the pleasure of visiting. It's far enough away from the highway that it's pretty quiet, it's very clean, the staff are very helpful, it's a great KOA all around!
