Make sure you have plenty of jack blocks to level your camper. Electrical to be desired. Need big enough shoes to walk over the big rocks around camper. Forget if your legs arr handicap. Spent overnight & a night mare.

My husband and I joined TRA and brought our Coachman Leprechaun 33 foot Class C out to Rocky Fork. We absolutely loved the staff and our campsite! Never are we disappointed in any of our visits to Travel Resorts of America or Coast to Coast!! We will be back soon!

Sites difficult to level with hydraulic system. Sewer connection was uphill from RV, connection itself 16 inches off ground. Bath houses, restrooms very well taken care of. Clean. Pedestal power little weak. Roads up to and through CG rutted, washout and holes. Steep climb from check in to site, huge holes and pavement crumbling. Uneven. Many amenities, to stay busy. Obvious corporate oversight.

Ok campground , overall maintenance of grounds is in very poor condition. Miniature golf looks like it hasn’t been maintained in 20 years. Cabins could be cleaned better, I’m sure they just change sheets and don’t sweep or mop. Indoor pool is best part for fall/ winter time. Everything is far to get to and golf cart rental is pricey at $65 a day.

Very nice campground. But it is ashame they cut back on a lot of their activities. Like Archery, paint ball. Also they don't have as many horses, only 4. 1 for guiding and 3 for riders. Your family couldn't go together because of this. Plus I feel bad for the horses if you have a lot of riders through out the week. Our Trail guide Tanika was excellent.

So, this is one of our campgrounds we got with our Travel Resorts of America. I'm not sure where to begin. For a weekend it was very quiet but then again it is still spring. The staff are pretty good and did help when asked. We have a 41 foot 5th wheel and the site we were assigned was way up on a hill. Dirt roads and very curvy getting to the site. I was not real happy with the water and electric on one side and the the sewer on the other. The site was nice but Wow... was it crazy to level our camper. Good pressure on the water but I had to double tap the breaker on the box to get the power going. The RV RESORT is very remote and will take a bit to get there. They have a archery range, skeet and pistol/rifle range. There is horse back riding but call in advance to make reservations. They also have paint ball, swimming and a game room but we did not use it. Read some of the other comments. Over all not bad but be prepared and plan ahead. Ask a lot of questions before you decide to book.

We bought a membership last year and this is one of our home resorts. This past weekend showed true colors for this resort and I'm not sure we will be back. We were supposed to stay until Monday and we left Sunday.. There were kids and teenagers cussing and running amuck through the pool room and arcade room. The teens kept jumping in the pool and almost landed on all the smaller kids in the pool. My mom and I were lounging in the chairs reading our books and our books and towels were soaked by the time we left. The kids were also hanging on the handicapped chair for the pool and being so disrespectful. All the arcade games were broken so our daughter couldn't play because the older kids were in there unsupervised and jammed the machines up. We called the after hours number TWICE Saturday night and the guy didn't do anything. All he did was look into the pool area from the arcade room. And the same kids were back in there unattended in the morning so we just left. The water from the shower rooms smelled like rotten eggs, and people let their kids unattended in there [smaller than 8 years old] and was playing peekaboo in the shower curtains and ripped the curtain open on me TWICE after telling them someone was in there, also there was dirty clothes all over the bathroom. I have NEVER been to a campground and had this many problems. The camp store wasn't open so we couldn't get anything we needed. And the laundry mat didn't even have a vending machine with soap/fabric softener. That was a bummer as well.. The only exciting thing this weekend was the horses were out in the pen and my daughter wanted to pet them. I'm really regretting our membership. Id rather stay at a KOA or a state park.

RFR is a cool little spot. We went in the winter February. The only reason for the 3 stars is for the horrible dirt roads you have to drive to get there. We were there on a 3day/2nght coupon and brought our dogs too. The cabin was L5. It was reasonably clean and had dishes and some cookware. The oven hadn't been cleaned and smoked when we first used it. Because it was winter most activities were closed but we still had a good time. Its really is a beautiful property.

Nice facility, even in the snow..! Sales presentation was decent--no high pressure. We'll probably not join.

FOR WARNING ⚠️ If you are wanting to take advantage of the free 3 day and 2 night stay, I would not recommend going during their off season. Unkess you don't want to do anything. Nothing is open there. The general store and I cream store are closed and the horse stable is closed. The staff is not knowledgeable. Nice, but that is it. When calling to ask multiple questions, no one could tell us what the cabin looked like or tell us if there was an image to look at on the website. They didn’t know. The tour you go on shows 3 levels of cabins. What they don't tell you is that you will be staying in the "park model" cabin. This is fine, but what you stay in looks nothing like the one they showed us! The futon has seen better days or years. Someone posted 11 months ago about the futon in cabin L39, which is the one we stayed in, needed replaced. Still not replaced! We had to sit on pillows so we would not feel the frame! There was a mousetrap in the bathroom vanity and the floor is not level. Our bedroom door would not stay open and when you lay in bed, you can feel the slope! Watch out for the toilet lid, it won't stay up while you use it! The sliding door was very hard to open and close. If I could post pictures, I sure would! We were considering purchasing a membership but once we experienced what we did, this won't be happening. The salespeople need to be honest, customer servic needs better training and there needs to be a list of what is provided for free and what is provided at a fee, and get your cabins up to date! Needless to say, we left the next day.

Took my travel trailer and rented a cabin for my son and his family. What a disgusting place to stay. Cabin had not been cleaned in what seemed like years! Roaches and stink bugs and pulled out the couch for the kids to sleep on and I never saw so many mouse droppings. To think that you would want your members to see this and think it was okay was beyond unbelievable. My son had to go to a hotel because we couldn’t even get someone to respond to our phone calls. Embarrassing and disappointed in my membership. And they always want to sell you more. WOW
Mad customer
I own a timeshare here like the idiot I am. This place sucks. I camp in cabins and like the lady before said. The cabins they show you and the ones that are available are ALOT different. The 10 really nice cabins up top you have to buy a extra membership just to rent. It usually cost me $200 for 2 nights here in a dirty outdated cabin plus you have to rent sheets for $22. Then add in that new management took over they took away every reason why I bought a membership. They had a poker room, petting zoo, a restraint, they took away the store on the hill, most of the food from the other store still there. They used to have bands and dances, car shows, hog roasts, so much to do. They took all of it away. Now they have butterfly weekend, Insect weekend, nature weekend. What the hell happened to the awesome place I paid for. Now its a Christian campground. Which is fine but what happened to the fun. So why would anyone pay $12,000 to buy a timeshare and $200 plus per weekend to stay here. When you can get 10 times a nicer cabin, by itself and save money. This palce sucks. Read the reviews you will see. They do not do any updates. None of the a/c works , decks are falling in and rotting, no maintance whatsoever, they had issues with bedbugs. Poorly managed and operated.

We are members of Travel Resorts, Rocky Fork Ranch is where we purchased our membership. We enjoy camping but most campsites are not full hookups. A lot of sites are on steep hills and we haven't been able to open our awnings or put rugs out. We have incurred damage to our TT. two times while trying to back into the space on a hill. 90 percent of the employees are wonderful people who are very helpful. I recently found out what the other 10 percent are like. They will lie and say anything to sale you a membership. The large book that describes all the benefits is nothing like the real contract. They laugh at you if you mention the book, if you don't have anything but a one page contract the company doesn't honor anything their employees tell you. Buyers beware!!

We were shown the models for the cabins when we camped there recently. They were very clean and nice. They had flat screen tv's and nice amenities. We were given a 4 night stay in a cabin to do the tour /sales meeting. We loaded up our vehicle, took vacation time from work and headed out. Once we arrived we were given keys to a cabin. When we walked in there was no tv, it was dirty and completely outdated. It was more or less a shed with no tv. The bed was so old and dilapidated that I wouldn't dream of putting my sheets on it. We complained to the office about it, they searched for one with a tv. They said the only one they had was in the next cabin they gave us keys to. We walked in and were overwhelmed by the smell. It was a pet cabin and smelled like it. The tv was an old tube tv and everything else was the same as the previous cabin. So we have 4 days of food and supplies packed in our vehicle and had to go to another campground and spend hundreds of dollars to have a decent place to stay. We agree with others on here, it seems to be a scam to get you to buy into the place. You've been warned, we would not recommend this place to anyone wanting a cabin to stay in and wanting to take the tour. Very disappointed :( we feel the ranch should reimburse us for our inconvenience. How could you expect to impress anyone to join when you assign them to a place like they gave us?

Stayed here and used our Coast points so was a good value. Sites are not level lots of trees to maneuver around, 2 separate camping areas on top of different steep hills. Has a large indoor pool and hot tub, but hot tub jets where not the best. Also outdoor pool, miniature golf but was not open on Wednesday & Thursday's. Lake down another road with shooting range, bow shooting and driving range.Lots of activities if you don't mind driving to them. Our water and electric hook up was about 50 ft from our camper, they do lend out extentions though. Camped in a fifth wheel and would not return. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
