Quiet, clean, friendly. Geese and ducks wandering. Deer at dusk in an adjacent field. The local town of Edenton very picturesque.

Just off the beaten path, Family oriented with all sorts of stuff to keep you occupied and outdoors having fun...Golf 3 par is too cool, paddle boats, Frisbee golf ⛳️ too... spots are spacious clean and well kept... full hookups , fishing galore... weekend jam sessions the list goes on... with in a couple minutes to the inner coastal water way...with boat lauch access.... let me just say, the family that owns this take pride in it... I'd say with the distance from so many historical spots within minutes just about any direction from the campground... its a hidden , low key but has abundant opportunities for those who really enjoy the outdoors... our fur babies really like it too ... winner winner chicken 🐔 dinner.... 👍🏼 up!!!

We found this little gem of a campground back when the COVID lockdown was easing and have returned here numerous times! This family owned and operated campground is quiet and peaceful. You can launch kayaks from the property to access the Chowan River. Small town Edenton, with its iconic Main Street offers coffee shops, restaurants, a museum, marina, playground and a movie theater. This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Va Beach!

This is a very nice RV park that is off the beaten path! The owner, Phyllis, is just so nice. Very helpful in setting reservations and upon arrival and getting the paperwork taken care of she will escort you to your site. The park it's self is small but very nice. Very well taken care of. The sites are packed solid gravel and very level. No blocks needed for us to level our coach. All sites are 20, 30 & 50 amp sites with water and sewer. Several sites are set along a pond which is nice to look out and watch the wildlife. We are in a 45' coach and had plenty of room for it and our toad to park. The park is only about 3 miles to Edenton, NC which has plenty of shopping and dinning, and is a very nice small town with lot's of history. Very Well worth the stop and stay. If ever we are in this area again we would stay here again.

We stayed here the day our axle on the camper was fixed. We had only thought we'd stay a week. We went to the Wash House in Edenton to do our laundry. Now our 12 year old truck wouldn't start. It was the fly wheel that had to be replaced. It would take 2-3 weeks to be fixed. Phyllis who is the owner, was so nice and helpful about us staying until the truck was fixed. The campground is grass, gravel and grass. It's very well manicured and maintained. It has a big pond stocked with fish. There's a boat ramp on the property to the river. You can play golf on the property too. It's nine holes, par 3. It has a Red Barn that hosts music on Fridays and some Saturdays . It cost $10. to listen to the band. The sites are very spacious and level. They have a wooden picnic table and fire ring. We had full hook ups. It was $40.. for the night. It is quiet and serene there. It's surrounded by farms. It's about 8 miles to town. You'll find all the services you need. There's a Food Lion to buy groceries. I think the deli there is terrible. Hardly any variety of cold cuts. Downtown is very charming with its shops, bakeries and restaurants. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Southern hospitality. We ate at The Oyster Bar and Grill. Very good variety of oysters fixed several ways. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, the food and the service.
