Shawna and her husband were fantastic on our arrival and modification to our site. We even decided to stay here a few more nights before our return home. The other staff couple helped us find a perfect site for that. Gardiner MT is the best location for park exploring. It is not a tourist trap. Sun Outdoors (formally Rocky Mountain RV) is operating just perfectly. Keep it up.

Campground is wonderful, the hosts are even better! They allowed us to check in after the office closed! We are so thankful for them!

I'm giving 5 stars to this location, not to Sun Outdoors. This locations staff was so amazing and helpful! Had a problem with the reservations on the website through Sun outdoors and even though it showed that it processed my credit card and I was paid, we arrived and they couldn't find a reservation for us at all! We were very worried working with a tight schedule and really wanted to see Yellowstone! The super sweet staff found us a spot and made sure we were situated then went through all the effort to figure out the problem. They have nice laundry and supplies and the staff regularly out helping with RV troubles. The location is great! For a spot right outside a national park the price is reasonable and it's only a 10 minute drive to the entrance and 20 to the visitor center.

RV park is in a beautiful location at the north entrance of Yellowstone. Nothing was lacking as far as parking and hook ups for the RV. Pet friendly and remarkably quiet though a few barks can be heard as elk often walk very near the park. Staff is helpful and are quick to respond to needs or questions. Certainly plan on staying here again on next visit to Yellowstone Nat. Park.

We came here and stayed and had a very nice visit, we had 2 other rigs with us. My daughter was in the pull thru site next to me, but she paid less then I did. I went and asked about it at the office nd they couldn't explain it, I had actually made both reservations at the same time. I asked for my money to be corrected, but was told no. I contacted the home office multiple times and never received even a response. If your planning on staying at this campground just make sure you are charged correctly, if not you will never get it corrected. I write a lot of reviews because I read reviews to make my decision on where to go!

Basic RV Park. Some sites have great views. There are always elk wandering around and sometimes deer. I love having them around. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here. It is right at the north entrance to Yellowstone. Very convenient. We will stay here again.

Lovely view and resident elk herd who offer free entertainment. We were here during the rut so we got to hear bull elks bugling. Seems very pet friendly and includes a small dog park (although I would be aware if you have a dog who will be excited by the elk). I plan to return next time I'm traveling to the area. VERY convenient to Yellowstone's north gate, and the town of Gardiner seems nice and has a number of restaurants.

We stayed 4 nights at Rocky Mountain RV Park and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the park is really well maintained. A short walk from our site provided a beautiful view of Gardiner and the Yellowstone River and north entrance of Yellowstone Park. Elk visited the outside of the RV park each evening and were fun to watch. A nifty cornhole game, laundry facilities and more. We took a peak into one of the cabins and we were super impressed by the size and cleanliness. We would highly recommend and will be back.

We stayed four nights - two sites. So convenient to the north gate of Yellowstone, close to town. They watered the grass on the sites every night, so the grass was so cushiony and nice. SO VERY CLEAN, people were great. Laundry and shower facilities were great - plenty of machines to get the job done quickly. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend. The only downside was, no playground for the kiddos, but we had plenty to do to keep them busy. Even the Elk visited every night!

We three adults rented one of the cabins (deluxe, with linens) for three nights and were so pleased! The cabin is small but had everything we needed. It was very clean, the views over surrounding hills and down to the north park entrance were lovely, and the RV park was quiet at night. It’s an easy walk into town for dining, and a very short drive into Yellowstone. I would absolutely stay there again!
