Very nice camp grounds. Bath house well maintained. Hiking trails, play area, and fishing. Only downside there is a lot of algae or Moss on the lake.

This park is trash. Went there yesterday to fish, and not sure why they call this a lake. It’s a weedy mud puddle at best. The park is not maintained well and it shows. First thing we saw was the rotting, stanky, maggot-infested deer carcass floating near the bank, probably about 25 feet away from the “beach” where kids play and swim in the water 🤮. Probably also has poop drainage from the cow farms right next to it. How anyone lets their kids enter that cesspool is shocking to me. Then there was the gaping hole in one of the fishing piers that they conveniently half-assed covered with a picnic table. Nice. Next was some big hole in the ground covered with a rusty metal grate that was all mangled and coming apart. Some kid or dog is gonna get shredded on that metal and maybe fall down in there into who knows where. Probably more rotten animal carcasses if I had to guess. Fishing sucks here too. Shallow and weedy. This park is a joke.

This is only a review for the winter rules. They close driving to the back part of the park, which makes it tougher for us old guys to ice fish the back section. Otherwise the park is great during season, nice amenities and gets a 5 star then.

Nice county park. It's close to my home and makes for a quick getaway. Mostly quiet. Water is kinda inconvenient but accessible before you setup. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Lake is mega mossy and fishing was slow.

I spent a long weekend here. Nice quiet park with plenty of openings. The area I stayed in had power poles for each spot with 30 and 50 amp plugs. The lake was pretty clogged up with algae, but comes and goes as it wasn't like that on my last visit.
