Nice area with a boat launch and fishing areas.

Excellent area but SO MUCH trash on the ground and the bathrooms (men’s is unacceptable) are gross. The area is nice with picnic areas, dock, wildlife viewing, open space, etc. but if it wasn’t so trashy…. Keep it clean for 5 stars

The dam here was a really neat sight to see. It is pretty crowded on the weekend though so I might recommend a weekday for the best scenery and less crowds.

Beautiful place to come see the sunset, fish, or soak up some quiet time. One of Florida's beautiful places! Very busy today with many people fishing. We caught a few nice sized crappie brim bass and more. Super fast moving water. This place has many spots available to fish and enjoy the day! A must see if near Ft. McCoy! Clean restrooms too!

No 🚽paper in men's nor women's restroom. Sad situation. At least the woods supply leaves for such an occasion. Lol, too bad i wasnt a 🐻...hahaha

Today was World Fish Migration Day, yet migratory fish including the Atlantic striped bass, American eel, channel catfish and Atlantic sturgeon cannot migrate the Ocklawaha River anymore and have all but disappeared from the river. Rodman Dam must go. Free the Ocklawaha! Restore fish migration! Restore manatee migration!

The area was clean and cared for. There are several picnic tables, both covered and not, as well as a few small grills. There were many people fishing. This is not a swimming spot due to the many underwater trees. If you're looking for a local fishing spot, quiet place to watch the sun rise or set, nice place to have a picnic by the water or just a quiet place to think this is it! There are also atv and motorbike trails at the end of the road.
