The campsite was amazing! I booked site #52 at the end of a loop and it was nice and private. Lots of old growth trees on the grounds, a trail to hike, and a creek cutting right through the campground. It is a short drive away from Crater Lake and I actually preferred my site to anything I saw at the National Park. There's a general store, restaurant, and ice cream stand right before the campground entrance. The ice cream store was never open when I tried to visit, but the store across the street had everything you could need. The only con was the way-finding was difficult to see. Some roads were one-way only, but it wasn't always clear which way it was. They don't recommend RVs over 28 feet long and I see why. Some of those turns were tight, even for my 20 foot van.

Great campsites with lots of privacy on both sides, great location, and kind camp host. What wasn’t so nice were the overflowing trash bins everywhere and the generations of flies living inside the vault toilets. I’m no stranger to vault toilets but these were vile, not maintained or cleaned once during my 3 day stay. I could smell the nearest toilet from my campsite, and they never had hand sanitizer. Campsite sizes are also extremely irregular, so make sure you check how big your site will be before booking.

A beautiful and quiet campground, but lacking in facilities, for sure. There are a TON of sites, so it’s huge, but far too few toilets and hardly any water pumps that were working. None of the pit toilets had hand sanitizer the whole time we were there (we stayed 3 nights). The fire “rings” were also not great - ours was just one half of a rectangle of steel with a grate.

Spacious campground! While we were there, it was very quiet, and you were able to enjoy all the nature around you. Everyone camping around us was very courteous. The camp host was very personable and delightful. The fire warning was at extreme during our visit, so we could not build any fires. So he offered to let us use his propane stove if we needed it, even though we brought ours. Beautiful hike around the campsite and watching the river was very serene.

I absolutely loved my camping spot here. The space was large and mostly private. I suggest getting a spot near the river. The minus side would be no showers and also never in the 3 days I was there was the camp host on duty, which was a bit frustrating. Also, mosquitos are bad here and even worse at CrYer Lake so be prepared.

Awesome campground!! So beautiful — definitely worth it to try and grab a spot right on the River. So quiet and peaceful. Really appreciated the shade during the hot summer. Bathrooms are basic vault toilets & very very clean. Super close to Crater Lake National Park. Will be back again!!

Theres a fire pit with fold out grill at every site. Many sites are creekside to Union Creek which has amazingly clear water and rainbow trout.

Resort - love the place, the lake, the staff, and no mosquitoes!! 26 years in a row, can't wait till next year! Campground - can't beat the location, only camped once usually stay at the resort. Twin Lake at the doorstep, Wickiup Reservoir across the road. Dog loves it too!
