Shield Haven

Great location on Flathead Lake! The restaurant has super good food, and the staff is really nice. The park staff is very helpful and takes you to your site upon arrival. There is a Rec Center too with ping pong, foosball and a TV. The meat shop has good Jerky also.

We stayed there the first 3 days of August 2025. The park was super nice. The "clubhouse/laundry/bath facility was beautiful and very very clean. They have their own boat dock and play area on the lake that was perfect. We will for sure stay here on our next trip to Flathead Lake.

Very nice & clean facility. Bath houses were always clean and neat. They have on-site dining and also a small meat/cheese store. Pontoons are available for rent and you can purchase ice on-site! Great views of Flathead Lake and they have their own private dock area and boat launch with a play area for swimming and fishing!

Arrived to a warm welcome from the host. They had only opened for the season 2 days earlier so the place didn't have many guests. The onsite restaurant wasn't open yet for the season (bummer) but the jerky/meat store was good. Bathrooms/showers were nice and clean. Lots of things to do. Beautiful view of the lake too.

Good food, good people, good service. Their shakes are amazing, especially the PB Chocolate one. The employees are kind and food gets to your table quickly. Great place.

One of the best RV parks that we have visited. The people that operate the park are efficient and very polite. The grounds are beautiful; green grass, paved roads, big evergreen trees, very clean and we watched the sunrise over Flathead Lake. The restrooms are modern and very clean. We have stayed twice in two years while visiting the Kalispell area and would not consider staying anywhere else.
