We had planned to go to Englishman River but had to change plans due to the wildfire smoke. The site itself is decent overall, and the staff were friendly. For the cost (double provincial campsites), however, the tent sites are laughably small with absolutely zero privacy, your tent will likely be a few feet from your neighbors. If you want a shower it's coin operated, and they won't do cash back from card, so you're out of luck if you didn't bring cash. The washrooms were fine, and the golf/pool is good for kids. Where the tent 'sites' are, expect to be woken up by people all around, the golf course, the dog park, and the extremely loud gate that opens and closes all night. If you're in an RV site, you're probably fine, but if you plan to tent, recommend you choose somewhere else.

This was our first time staying at this resort and we were very pleased. Super clean and well taken care of, very friendly staff. We had our two grandkids with us and our 10year old quickly made friends. Lots of kids riding bikes and enjoying the pool but it was still very quiet. Lots of people taking advantage of the small golf course. Our site backed onto the golf course but was still very private with a hedge separating. We had a pull through site with full services and only downside is the sites are relatively close but didn’t feel intrusive. We wish we had stayed longer, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience at Rondalyn RV Campground! The service was absolutely top-notch, especially thanks to Carol and Alexa. My husband tends to ask a lot of questions, and both Carol and Alexa were incredibly friendly, patient, and eager to help with everything. Their warm, welcoming attitude really made our stay more enjoyable. It’s always great to feel genuinely cared for—thank you both for making our visit so pleasant!

We stayed in one of the cozy cabins and had a great experience overall! The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms on site were spotless. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We loved having access to the pool and the small golf course—great little extras that added to the fun. One of the highlights was definitely the river nearby; it was peaceful and perfect for a quick walk or just relaxing by the water. The only downside was how close the campsites were to each other—it felt quite busy and crowded at times. Also, we were hoping the dog park would be a bit bigger to allow more space for our pup to run around and get some proper exercise. Overall, a lovely spot with great amenities, but would be even better with a bit more space and a larger dog area. If you do visit, be sure to stop in at the Timberland Pub and have a meal—great food and a nice atmosphere!

Beautiful park. Staff work hard to keep the park clean and landscaped. Always a smile or a wave and helpful with questions or concerns. Beautiful scenery every direction. Great walking and hiking trails. The islands best sites and amenities are within an easy drive. About 2 km from the Nanaimo airport, and 15 minutes from the Dull ferry terminal. We are already booked for next year and looking forward to it.

A great family friendly place with lots for the young, and young at heart, to do.

Lady at the office who checked me in was the sweetest. Was passing through and needed my truck in the shop overnight getting some work done on it. Was able to drop my camper off at the resort and leave the truck at the shop for the duration of its work. Clean and quiet campground. They were even able to get me wooden blocks for my camper jacks. What a lovely spot and experience. Definitely recommend to anyone needing a nice campground in the nanaimo ladysmith corridor

A big variety in spaces to choose from, check-in was quick and easy. Pool was nice and clean, but because of the heatwave, very busy. The 9 hole pitch-n-putt is adequate with two actually challenging holes...fun to play. Very quiet area, when the kids have gone to bed.
