Booked online a few days before. Manager called us day of arrival to tell us she changed our site since we “snuck in” online just before they were about to close most of their sites for the winter and that the office wouldn’t be open when we arrived mid-day. We picked up our paperwork from a bulletin board. Found our site, which was fine. Never made contact with any staff during our stay, even though the posted hours said they would be open. Laundry room wasn’t open until after ~10 am each morning which meant we missed our opportunity to use it before we left. Nice enough park, but the management left a bit to be desired…

Half of this campground has nice large shade trees, the other half is an ugly gravel parking lot, make sure you make your reservation for the good half. You have to pay quarters to use the showers. Some of the permanent residents were walking through my campsite to walk their dogs, the management should put up signs about proper campground etiquette.

We've stayed at Roughrider RV resort at least four times from a week to a month at a time, and it's beginning to feel like another home away from home. The staff are friendly, the water, wifi, and electric work great, and it's the perfect place to RV in Minot- especially when you're visiting family. We recommend, and we'll be back!

It's a very quiet and well kept rv park. It's located on the Souris River adjacent to a reservoir and the politeness of the manager and staff make it a great place to relax. Fishing is allowed and there are burbot, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and sometimes walleye in the waters.

Moved here from Oklahoma with a warm weather trailer and Lived at roughrider from Oct-Apr. Was a long quiet winter. Sure it had its challenges but followed exactly what Amanda and staff told to me to do in winter prep and had a great experience. Sure winter camper living is a little tough but honestly was pretty cozy with the doggo. Campground was quiet not alot of traffic. Wifi, Clean hot showers, laundry facility what more could you ask for. Definitely recommend if your looking for a quality camp
