The Freeman Reservoir Campground is located within the Medicine-Bow Routt National Forest. This area is a well used by hunters, hikers, and campers. There is a small day fee to park or camp here. I've seen people fishing at the reservoir. There are many trails and beautiful views near. The fall is incredible out here. There are many beautiful aspen trees.

Nice campground; it has no specific RV sites which honestly is nice. Dogs and humans enjoyed themselves. We didnt see a camp host selling wood so make sure to bring a bundle just in case. Nice hiking.

It was absolutely beautiful!!! We just weren't prepared for all of the snow that we got while we were down there...
If it's not broken fix it
Nice little campground. The reservoir is a great way to spend the afternoon on a kayak its not that big of a reservoir. The trails are nice not that difficult to do. Only a 2hr drive to Dinosaur monument. Definitely worth the trip to see Both sides of it. Everyday i saw mule deer and elk. Running through the campground. The facilities where clean. Bring your own paper. Plenty of room between site's. Not that many people there when I went. In early August of 2017. I would have given it 5 stars but I forget it was Colorado and pot is legal. Other than that i will go back. No cell service. Town is a 15 minutes a way. For service. The people in town are nice. With lots of little shops if you like that kinda thing.
