Overview
Located on the eastern shores of Last Mountain Lake, Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park is a premier destination for Saskatchewan RVers seeking a mix of relaxation and water-based recreation. The park is characterized by its extensive shoreline and sprawling green spaces that offer a refreshing break from the surrounding prairie landscape. It serves as a well-maintained hub for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate a classic provincial park experience with a high standard of care and accessibility for various rig sizes.
Location & Surroundings
Situated near the town of Strasbourg, SK, the park sits within a unique coulee that leads down to the massive Last Mountain Lake. This natural valley provides a sense of seclusion and protection from the wind, creating a microclimate that is often warmer than the open plains. The surrounding area is quintessential Saskatchewan, featuring vast open skies and rolling fields, making the drive into the ravine a visually striking transition as the water comes into view.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is well-equipped for modern RV travel, offering a variety of electrified campsites that accommodate everything from camper vans to large fifth-wheels. Visitors have access to modern shower houses, laundry facilities, and a full-service marina with boat rentals and fuel. For family entertainment, the park features a large sandy beach, multiple playgrounds, and a popular mini-golf course, ensuring that everything needed for a comfortable stay is available right on the grounds.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Fishing is a primary draw here, as the lake is famous for its record-setting walleye and northern pike. Beyond the water, travelers can visit the nearby town of Strasbourg for local supplies or explore the Last Mountain Lake Bird Sanctuary, which is the oldest of its kind in North America. Hiking trails within the park provide excellent opportunities for birdwatching and photography along the scenic shoreline and through the native grasslands that border the campsites.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an ideal choice for family campers and anglers who want a destination where they can unhook and stay for an extended period. Because of the excellent marina and beach facilities, it is particularly well-suited for those traveling with boats or watercraft. It offers a lively, community-oriented atmosphere that appeals to RVers who enjoy social environments, well-organized recreation programs, and a wealth of onsite activities for children.

Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park is a great spot for outdoor activities, especially if you enjoy being by the water. Last Mountain Lake, located within the park, offers some good fishing spots that make for a relaxing day on the lake. The park is well-maintained and has a marina where you can rent boats, which is super convenient if you don’t have your own. The scenery is beautiful, and it’s a nice place to unwind, whether you’re fishing, boating, or just enjoying nature. A solid choice for a weekend getaway.

In one word peaceful. The place is serene and there was a coffee shop, I just fell in love with their service. They serve soft ice cream and other food as well. Plenty of space for bar-b-que and parking.

Large selection of campsites from tent to full service, and cabin rentals. Campsites are large, shaded and within walking distance to lake. Shower facilities are very clean. I saw two different playgrounds for kids. A great little general store stocked with basics and some fun camping things.

Very quiet place I like this place because there are not many people and the water is clean most of the time and the beach is tidy Note before entering this place please pay the entrance fee of $10 for one day only. When you arrive at the place you will see something like a border office in the middle of the street but it will be closed go to the right side of the street you will notice a big house which is an office and there you pay and receive a paper that you put on your car so you do not get a ticket

A wonderful and beautiful place for camping for families and individuals, but it lacks some services, as the bathrooms are very few and most of them do not contain sinks or showers.
