Extremely friendly and knowledgeable owners. Couldn't stay out whole time, but our spot was very nice, wifi worked fine on the phone and we had cable for the television.

Very thankful for the staff of Russell Springs KOA. We go each year around Father's Day for a sort of family reunion. The staff are very helpful. My daughter was having to be late for check in, as she was delayed. The staff waited around to escort her to her cabin, though it was well past check in time. THANK YOU!!

This KOA is visually appealing. The staff is polite and professional. This particular location may be a network deadzone. So, come prepared for service outages. With that being said, this location has endless potential for a fun vacation with the family.

Located on the high banks of lake Cumberland the campground is quiet and reasonably priced. Spots were easy to get in and out of and utilities worked fine for the whole stay. Staff were friendly and facilities were nice.

We spent a few days here with our children for spring break. We stayed in D05. It’s a new “tiny cabin. Our stay was nice and the owners were very hospitable. Giving 3 stars because everything was OK. WiFi does not reach the cabin we stayed in despite owners having recently added an extender. Playground consisted of 4 swings and a stand alone slide. They do have tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts so if you bring equipment that’s available. Cabin was cute but could use some small changes. Hot water for showers was very limited but manageable, cabin needs more hooks and shelves to help get luggage and such off the floor, arcade is vintage which is cool but several games took our money. I’m sure the owners would have given us our money back if we asked but they were gone for the day and it wasn’t a huge deal to us. Location was 30min- an hour away from all of the hiking we wanted to do so that wasn’t ideal but the owner was very kind and took extra time with us to draw maps and give us tons of information. In summary, if you’re looking for a clean and hospitable place to land at night this will serve just fine. If you’re looking for a campground full of fun and entertainment you probably won’t find it here, at least not in the off season.
