I just spent 4 days at Rutledge Lake RV Park and I loved it. I had a waterside site and it was perfect. There was even a small dock with metal chairs and a table I sat at to drink my coffee in the morning. Kayaks and paddle boats are available to take out onto the water. Although it rained and I didn’t get to take out a kayak, I plan on another trip there soon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this RV park.

This was by far one of the best RV parks we've stayed at. The site was located next to a creek that was soothing to sit next to. The lake and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained.

This place is really amazing. The staff is very nice, there’s a lake with paddle boats and geese and fish, a pool, laundry/bathhouse, game room, general store….they have it all.

Buyer Beware: I had a terrible experience at Rutledge Lake RV Park, and I strongly advise against staying here. The staff is incredibly shady and untrustworthy. Their cancellation policy was clearly stated in the confirmation email, but when I needed to cancel, they changed the rules on the fly to benefit themselves. It felt like a blatant attempt to take advantage of customers when they’re most vulnerable. I was shocked by their lack of integrity and professionalism. They will manipulate their policies to suit their needs without any regard for the customer. Don't be fooled by the nice surroundings or the friendly faces; the management's shady tactics ruin any chance of a good experience. There are plenty of other options in the area that will treat you with the respect you deserve. Save yourself the headache and avoid Rutledge Lake RV Park at all costs!

We stayed at Rutledge Lake RV Park for a week at the end of July in 2024. We really enjoyed our stay here. Before we arrived, we were a little concerned that the site wouldn't be large enough, but it turned out to be fine for our 48 ft. RV since we were able to park our truck next to it (site 52 right by the bath house and pool). We even had room to drop the deck in the back. There is enough room to maneuver through the park, and there are great amenities such as a pool, rec room, small dog park in the back, a playground, reasonably priced laundry ($2 and $2), and even free paddle boats. Every time we attempted to go on a hike or paddle boat, we were soaked by a giant rain shower that wasn't on radar 5 minutes before, but hopefully you'll be luckier, lol. We needed to dry our soaked clothes, but were out of change and the office was closed. Unfortunately, they do not have a change machine, but when we texted the after-hours number they were happy to bring change to our site, even in the pouring rain - shout out to Adam! There were some issues though. First, any important information should be relayed at least a day in advance, preferably via email. The campground tried calling twice on the day of check-in when we are obviously busy driving there. Also, my wife used the bathhouse once when I was repairing something in our shower, and she said one of the curtains was too narrow and ideally should be lockable doors instead. Edit: The info we saw about a gun policy must have been out of date, as they say gun owners are welcome now! Bonus tip: go eat at Acropolis Pizza - AWESOME Greek and Italian food!

We had to make an emergency reservation when our house was flooded in a plumbing disaster. Suzanne and the entire staff was very helpful and kind during our stressful time! Very nice campsite as well!!

deserves higher than the 4.0 stars it currently has. quiet, nice and tidy. occasional noise from aircraft and dogs but overall very quiet. fast wifi, clean common rest rooms. made our travel / business stay in our new class B van very interesting and uncommon experience vs staying in a hotel. Rich was particularly nice employee.
