We had a great time at Hollywood casino Joliet. The room was nice and clean. Customer service was great at the 99 hops. We will be back and stay with this place again. I would like to say Thank you to my host. Jorge was very nice and helpful. He was the best in his role and assisted us every step of the way. He delivered the best customer service. Thank you so much!

Been coming here for years, but stopping. Before covid hit a few 8 quick hit jackpots, some other nice payouts. But in 30-40 trips since covid, I haven’t hit anything worth talking about and I’ve been to Vegas 8 times in last 3 years. I literally can fly to Vegas, stay in a hotel (which are now comped) and play for 5 days betting same level of slot games and the trip to Vegas is less expensive than what I lose in a 1 day here. Definitely not worth it. Plus they offer gimmicks like pots and pans to players… someone has to pay for that stuff so instead of giving away silly stuff, put the cost of those items back into the payout odds. Plus any casino that has to announce they have a winner over $1200 is because they are trying to make people feel like they have a chance…. it is because so few people win. Stay away from any casino that announces winners. Not to mention if it happens to be you, they draw attention to you… good luck not getting robbed in parking lot.

Was a nice getaway, but dropped a couple thousand and still haven't got any player rewards promo at all. I used my card too. Not really incentive to return again but then again Ameristar doesn't come off much promo....for the amount of money dropped in. Not sure what the logic is there from management? If you give people better promo.....not only would they show up to actually play it. But are also bringing money of they're own to spend as well. Money they wouldn't have spent, had they not had promo to show up and play. 🤔

For the rate I paid at the hotel it really wasn’t worth it. I had never been to this establishment before, so I thought I would give it a try. Upon arrival, the person that checked me in made me feel like I was inconveniencing them because I interrupted their social media. This person also rushed me through the check in process. I don’t know their name, but i couldn’t make out if this person was male or female. The actual rooms are really old and dated. The ceiling was covered with water stains from previous leaks. The room also smelled like old, stale cigarette smoke. The AC was loud and would rattle when running as well. The bed was ok and pillows and so forth were fine, nothing wrong there. But, for the $130 rate and $11 resort fee i paid I would have been better off keeping to the Hiltons I typically stay at. Also they put a hold on your credit card for $50 for incidentals. Which, normally is fine, but there was nothing that would cause one to use that money because the hotel doesn’t have any form of products to buy or charge to the room. So I don’t get why they charge a hold when there isn’t anything for the customer to really charge against the room. Also their hotel is not connect to the Casio. You have to walk to the Casino. Again, no issue there. It isn’t a long walk. But most Casios and hotels are connected. Also I would dress lightly when in the casino. I don’t know if they don’t run the AC or if it was broke, but it had to be 85 degrees with a ton of humidity in the casino. With all the slots and other things running which generate a ton of heat from all lights, I’ve never been in a Casino where I was sweating just by sitting in the environment.

Stayed in the RV park for an overnight. What a disaster. We knew the water was off. Not a huge deal. Had to move another guests personal items out of our site and pulled in. Got set up and plugged in. No power. The 50 amp outlet did not work. There were food scraps in our site and deer feces everywhere in the site. There is no attempt to clean or maintain the sites. I sent an email to customer service who replied promptly with I can't help you. Call the front desk. No way would I return. Zero stars.
