Pretty much a brand new campground! Clean bathrooms, free and awesome pool facility, beautiful views! Only downfalls- there could be a playground on the middle hill in the campground and hopefully they will build one soon? There is no cell reception pretty much within 30 mins of the campground and there isn't any stores or anything for quite a bit so it is very remote. Also, splash pad was not working during our visit.

Visited today for the first time. Drove over an hour and half to get here and the splash pad was broken. That was a major bummer considering I did not see anything online about it being broken. They're not sure when it will be fixed either. Over all it's a nice state park. The pool is free and the view next to it is amazing. Got here around 12:45 and the pool only had one other family which was great. As the day went on it became more packed with what I would have imagined were just locals. Not a very touristy state park. Also if you walk back towards the park picnic table area and it's wet or been raining do not walk on the gravel there's soupy swampy moss type stuff that's super slippery. I ended up falling and busting my knee open. Why it's gravel that was clearly laid not recently instead of just grass is beyond me . No cellphone service though most of the park. Oh and the giant pipeline/gas industry which ever it is on the way in to the park was a major bummer to see. We didn't hit in any trails for hiking because most we found were uphill and the ground conditions with all the rain were not safe to hike with kids. Hope to return again in the future and the splash pad working.

Download an offline map and check your route beforehand. My maps took me to a completely wrong nearby location. I rented cabin number 2. I don't remember reading it in any of my reservation information, but I found out they just leave the key in the door for you. The camp area (Polly Hill) is very clean as well as the bathrooms. The deer trail is just about a mile long and encircles the camp making it very convenient.

Huge splash pad! Great big water slide! And free-absolutely free! Unbelievably nice facilities, fun and friendly staff, and awestriking views! The kids in our group from 4 to 16 all had a blast! Parents too!! Couldn't have been nicer.

This is small camping area with just 5 clean cottages and few RV camp grounds. The place is clean with decent restrooms, laundry. However I felt there the camp areas are too close, if anyone wants a private area should ignore this camp area totally. There is a trail round the camp ground that might be near to a mile. The nice thing is there is a swimming pool with in a mile distance it is super clean surrended by lush green. It might be a new construction but adds a lot of value to the camping site.
