Sac West RV Park was great for what we needed it for. Its really a good place to stop in depending on what you are looking for. Its right off the highway which makes it easy and convenient to get to a lot of places and is close to a lot of places and local attractions. But its also a bit loud because of that. We stayed on the side that is right next to a truck stop gas station. The truck stop itself is really nice and clean and we enjoyed walking over there with the kids and getting snacks and ice. But big rigs would sit there all night running their engines and releasing their air breaks which is really loud. That was a down side for sure. There was a nice breeze the whole time we were there. You can tell its an older park with differed maintenance but the kids had a great time and didn't want to leave. They played in the pool a lot and the playground. Its a good campground for kids to ride on their bikes. And the lake with ducks or fishing is just steps away. Its not the fanciest most high end campground, and it doesn't have tons of amenities but it has everything you need. And the staff and Manager was very friendly and helpful. And they keep the campground and bathrooms and showers very clean. So I would highly recommend it as long as you know what you are looking for an expecting. Its a campground along the highway in the city. And for us, on this trip, that's exactly what we were looking for.

I want to express how amazing this campground is first of all the manager, Maddie, Tara, and Felicia their employees here as well. They’re the most amazing three women that I’ve ever encountered in my whole life. Their bathrooms are always clean. The camp area itself is always clean there’s always somebody cleaning something here the bathrooms and the showers. I’ve never went in them without them being fully stocked and cleaned and they have a little train that they drive around the whole part for children and it being the night before Easter they had a huge Easter egg hunt for the kids and everybody got to have a great time looking for Easter eggs and they’re just so amazing. I can’t say enough good about them. The place is a great location. They have a wonderful dog park and all the employees are so animal friendly if you’re ever looking for the best place to go camping, please please pick this one first because you will not not not be disappointed. and it’s really a safe place to be. I’ve never felt like I can’t leave my stuff outside and it be gone and it’s like it feels like being around family here that’s one of the things that I love about it. They have a great pond deficient and they have a big rec room, a laundry room a store on site Great showers. Please come here. they have a good set of criteria of the people that they allow to come in so it’s never like trashy people. It’s always family friendly oriented and that’s one of the other things that I love about it. It’s amazing and you can come here at midnight and they have a deposit box that’s how amazingly friendly and trusting this place It’s also by a truckstop Dollar tree Walmart, so the location is perfect as well and it’s right off the freeway

The bathrooms are nice, and there’s a small dog park. However, what truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are always picking up any trash and are always cleaning tables laundry rooms bathrooms there’s never dirty. Their dedication and respect make this place a great spot

I went to stay with my family to enjoy a few days away and got woken up to young kids fighting and scared the crap out of my niece and nephew! No one on site came and did anything about it! What a way to enjoy my relaxing vacation! What a waste of my money! They need to do better and monitor who they allow in here! There must of been at least 20 people in this little cabin!

We broke down literally across from this place on the hwy and it came as a sweet blessing. Our RV broke its suspension and we are not from CA! The staff who run this place are the kindest, down to earth, take the shirt off their back people I’ve ever met in an RV park. Came around chatting us up multiple times, checking to make sure we were good. All the people in this park who live permanently were also ridiculously friendly. We’ve been to 8 states and many RV parks and this hands down had a genuine, kind feeling! Safe part of town. We walked across the major hwy to Starbucks with our kids and it’s close & easy. Sad to see this RV park was bought and will close in 1 year.🥲 I pray all these WONDERFUL people can find new homes!

This park is wonderful. We arrived late and they had all the information available on the office door for us. It is very family and dog friendly. The park hosts were helpful and very pleasant. We would highly recommend this RV Park.

Great place to stay that's right of the highway. The cabins are nice and comfortable with power and AC/heat. Beds are firm, too much for me, but good.

My kids really enjoyed their time at this place. My ONLY problem was the sider webs and dust. Obviously not just cleaned. A playground outside the fenced pool. Animals welcome. It got really cold at night. Like really cold.

We stayed for four nights and had a great time. Staff was friendly and courteous. The park is close to downtown and has several restaurants nearby. We will stay asian in the future.

This is for Tent camping only. You are literally on top of the truck stop next door. If you are looking for a quiet spot, this is NOT your spot. The location is convenient, amenities look good, nice clean showers. But Semi Trucks all night. Very loud.

Water pressure was absolutely awful. Owner and staff could care less about people that stay there. The water is brown and over chlorinated. They put so much bleach in the water that we got sick from it. I would advise that you look somewhere else before staying here! Lots of vagrants around. Dog crap by our RV slot from other dogs that staff refused to clean up. After bringing complaints to light they refused to refill propane tanks. Payments run on a 28 day cycle. There isn’t anything good I can say about this place honestly.

I enjoyed our stay. It felt a bit run down, but the kids enjoyed it. It said they had heated pool, but it wasn’t. It seems to be a fun spot in the summer. Pleasant staff.

This was ann incredible park to stay at! We arrived late without reservations and we were able to get in. They loaned us a much needed part we’d left behind. Amazing location for us, great dog park, amazing arcades if you have kids and just overall great people. Would 100 percent recommend!!!!

Arrived at 7:30 pm, available sites posted on office door. I wished I called the after-hours for the code to the restroom. Convenience store located within walking distance. Even close to the freeway, it was not very noisy for me. I'm not a light sleeper. I would definitely try staying again, maybe even use the pool.

I was looking for a location to just stay a night or two. I spoke with Felicia a few times over the phone because this was my first time in a travel trailer. She was so helpful and kind. They have several different types of spots as well as cute looking cabins to tent campsites and several different toes of RV spots. The park is well laid out to drive around with pole markers with your spot number on them. Being my first time using a campground with my travel trailer I needed a little help and maintenance came out straight away and helped me. It is a well maintained park that is just off the freeway but wasn’t a lot of freeway noise. Thank you so much for a wonderful first RV campground experience.
