Was told they no longer accept passport. Was very disappointed that 1. They said they don't participate but after several back and forth calls they said they would accept it to have our business. 2. They charged us $108.00 for 3 nights (when we got to the park we learned the monthly rate is just over $300.00) so I feel we really got taken but hopefully will receive money back for return of the shower key. 3. EXTREMELY close sites, people were very nice but lots and lots of loud cars/music and constant barking dogs. We do not recommend not would we stay again. Lots of passport parks in the area so I recommend staying elsewhere. One very small unisex shower available and was pretty dirty. Never cleaned while we were there.

We moved in here 3 days ago. We came from out of town. We got robbed and got our guns stolen. The manager HEATHER WHO IS REALLY RUDE LIKE ALLLL THE OTHER COMMENTS SAY; instead of helping , they kicked us out. And refused to show the camera footage of who did it. I wonder if it was an inside job!! We got kicked out AND I HAVE RECORDING OF HER ADMITTING WE ARE KICKED OUT BECAUSE WE GOT ROBBED. At her property. She claims because we left my car door unlocked. Which is not true my truck my locked. And even if it wouldnt have had, she is blaming us for someone who robbed us!!in my 30 years of life have i ever ever gotten robed. Not my car not my house nothing. Ever . Only at this property. Since i have proof of her being rude and admitting she is kicking us out due to us being robbed (instead of finding the robber; getting more security better cameras etc), they said “we are red flag” . I have 4 small children my daughter has been crying ever since the incident happened uncontrollably. She is so traumatized since this has never happened to us and hasnt slept at all. Scared… we are definitely suing these people for so many things. They had zero compassion not even an “im sorry” nothing. Just “get out my property” THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS. I also spoke to neighbors and they said IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENS AND THE MANAGER PUTS IT UNDER THE RUGG. I also have proof of that. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IS CHEAP BUT I SEE WHY!!! BIGGEST REGRET DO NOT COME HERE !!! Believe the other reviews i wish I would of had! Cameras “dont work” and is super dangerous. Thank God for my amazing attorney and that my kids are okay other then the trauma they went through. I know God is going to take care of this one for sure and im here for it. Im also on a big social media platform where ill be showing all the proof and show everyone what this place is really about. Update i asked to speak to corporate and she denied my access to speak to them and hung up the phone. Which is ILLEGAL. she said for my attorney to figure out the number on his own. As long as corporate has someone like HEATHER this place is going to crap and more people will complain. Please please believe the reviews on here about her she is the worse. And finding out about her, no wonder she has and lives the life she lives. Explains why she is so miserable that she has to pour it out to others. God dont like ugly. 😉

Maybe if they stopped robbing people for to much rent it be a better place. Heard very bad things about new property management on how they want to act like they own everyone's mobile home. It's a 8 mile mobile home park not a 1

We are very happy with our choice of this park to winter. When we arrived in town and discovered we could not stay with friends on their property, so we started calling around for a place to stay. It was late Saturday evening and everywhere I called was closed. I left messages with many parks, but only one place called me back, safari’s property manager, Heather. I was given instructions how to fill out an application, which I did and emailed it back. A half hour later I called and spoke with Heather again and told her that I sent the application. She told me it would be reviewed on Monday when the office was opened since they were closed. I explained my situation and we were stranded. She told me come to the park and where I could park and hook up and that we would take care of everything afterwards. Wow! We were so relieved and grateful for Safari for taking us in since we had no place to go. We love it here and have had to stay longer than we expected due to health reasons. The people in the park are friendly. The place it clean and the park property manager is a gem. She has been so attentive to our needs and we feel so very welcome here. My wife and I decided that Safari will be our home base when we are in Texas. Thank you Safari RV for going that extra mile to help us when we were stranded. Heather is a champion and she really cares for all us like family. We are happy to be a part of this fabulous community.

Safe place for overnight, while visiting friends in Texas City on our way to Big Bend. A little old and some permanent campers. We have stayed several times and will stay again. I think it’s Wanda at the office, every thing went well. Easy check in !

Generally a quiet little community of Mobile Homes and some transient RV guests. They do rent some mobile home lots to longer term RV’rs. Used to be a family owned and run community, but nothing stays the same forever. Time will tell how new management company runs things.. Still, with families around, some old timers that have been here quite a while, and the mix you get of people passing thru it’s not a bad place. Used to be one of the best values around, things change however- but time will tell- it’s still a very affordable location. You get what you pay for since nothing is free right? For what I pay it’s an outstanding place to live.

The lot rent n charge for water are frequently increased. Most recently our rent was increased $20 a month. That's the largest amount ever. Yikes!

Its was good. I would stay there again.
