No one answers the phone. We were booked for June 7 thru June 14, 2025. We unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, had to cancel our stay. We gave them 9 days notice of our cancellation and was told the refund would be processed. I have been calling constantly and leaving voicemails, asking for a return call. Nothing. No email, no text, no return call. There are a couple numbers on RoverPass, Yelp and RVLife websites that are totally useless. One was a former employee that was let go in late June, and another was a kind vision-impaired gentleman that said he gets calls for them all the time. And, the website doesn't work. We booked thru RoverPass and i guess I kind of expected them to step up also, but no luck there either.

We called the office prior to arrival with no return phone call. Per office you are to stop at the gate and call them so they can escort you to your spot. We called upon arrival (no real gate either) no answer and couldn't locate the office. We drove to an open area parked and started to walk to find the office. There are not fences or anything, all open and very run down, sketchy looking area. A current full timer was outside, we chatted and were told to just park in any of the three spots by the office, we asked where the office was. The person proceeds to tell us that our catalytic converter will be stolen, to keep an eye on it. They also said to listen and keep one ear open to "the outside" then says "but no worries, you'll be fine". Then mentions there are snakes everywhere. Again states" but don't worry, you'll be fine". When we drove back around (very bad dirt roads, deep ruts), the office was an old, run down shack looking structure. No one has called us back from the office still. We drove to the three sites as we were picking our site, the person came back to us to tell us "DON'T OPEN YOUR DOOR FOR ANYONE" "NO ONE". My husband stated "I have a gun we'll be fine". They said "another fella did too and it didn't do him any good, he said he was too scared and almost had a heart attack". AGAIN, they tell us "but don't worry you will be fine" At this point NO ONE has called us back from the office after we made multiple calls and left messages!! After that person left repeating "but you'll be fine, I promise, just keep and ear out and don't answer your door". My husband and I felt unsafe and ended up leaving and finding a truck stop to stay at for the night. NO ONE has ever called us from the office to this very moment we have heard NOTHING back. We paid over $50 for that night. So much for "Safe Haven"....worst RV Park we have ever been to!!! Most of the places in the park are full timers and they are all very run down, sketchy looking and park not maintained. When using the GPS it takes you to the wrong entrance which ended up causing significant damage to the side of our fifth wheel. We felt like we were in the movie "Deliverence" seriously would not recommend this place to ANYONE!!!

Did not stay. I did not receive any notification until it was too late. We had already went to another campground. Did drive through this one and it was NOT taken care of and was in no way a SAFE (appearance) place to stay. Phoned multiple times and left messages for a refund and still have not heard. Do NOT stay here

Hello guys I wan to say this to whom it may concern. Investing in crypto was my husband ideal. I trade with some crypto platform not knowing they where sc!m and this made me lose almost all I had. The electric and water hookups seemed new. The park overall was adequate. We didn't go far because we had our dog and did not feel-good leaving her for too long. However, we did not feel safe. We stayed 3 nights. It was very convenient to downtown and had a great experience. Macon was a very nice place to visit. We visited the Hay House. Found some great restaurants within 3 miles. The area outside the park was a very disturbing sight and did not look safe at all. We were the only travelers there. Seemed like the park was just a mobile home park where most of the residents were long term. The gate was broken or not being used. I would have felt better had the gate worked. The "office" was a dump if it was even the office??? Someone met us when we turned in and helped us to our spot. to each his own. As much as we enjoyed Macon, I would never stay here again. It needs work and lots of security.

Owners are super friendly and helpful. Park is near highway but feels like it is in the country with lots of trees and space. Nice level spots and full hookups for a reasonable price. Will stay again next time we are in the area.

Nice flat pull throughs. For one night stop, got to dump at the site, and leave the next morning without a out of other set-ups needed. Didn’t need to level. Came in late at night, and when I called, they were right there to show me the way. I have used them twice, and will use them again . A couple of years ago, the bath house and laundry was just put in. It was a big mobile home with each room made into a shower room with a toilet . Nice and roomy, private. What used to be the living room is now the laundry machines. On one end is a large screen porch .

The lady that runs the place is really nice. The sites are pretty level and there are all the hook ups you need, plus bathrooms with showers. It's a little limited as far as there is no pool here and it was hot when I stayed there. Other then that, all good...... very affordable! $28 for the night with AAA.
