Worst RV park to go to...it's embarrassingly bad... I stayed there for a week....the homeless nodding out from drügs just coming up to the park isn't nearly the worst sight of it .. they have to have someone every day to keep the trash picked up cuz their campers are so dirty and don't pick up after themselves and the staff are very rude one young lady that works there is on her "high horse" even though she lives in the worst RV park in Salem she acts as if she's better and is not polite and is very short, she don't give u full answers to what u need, which isn't so bad compared to how bad some of the kids look there...they have communal showers but the kids look so dirty and so nasty like no ones there to take care of them ...its a walking cps violation.. and the amount out cops and ambulance that drives thru their at night and they drive awfully fast it's just very unsafe...and their stray cat problem is bad I believe I even saw one that looked like she had rabies.....This was the worst RV park and I've stayed at a few and tho they try and make it look nice...just stay their a few days youll see it's awful and extremely sad

We stayed here due to the location being 8 minutes from Salem Transitional Care. We were visiting a family member. The location is convenient to many businesses. The ease of accessing the park is great. We pulled late 2 nights and paid the next morning. The dump station is free if you overnight. There's a lot of talk in other reviews about safety. Many people live here. There are children living here. Possibly their greatest asset is the night time security guy. We never got his name but felt he was vigilant, kind and concerned. The place is close to the interstate so is pretty noisy. There's a huge stray cat population as well.

We stopped here on our way back from camping to empty the trailer holding tanks. Fairly easy to get to and easy to use. The sign on the store said closed when we got there but they had a envelopes and a deposit box where you could pay. The lady who works there came out and helped us as we were getting ready to use the self serve station. Dumping was $15 which is a little on the expensive side, but it saved us from dealing with one of the travel stations on I5. Haven't stayed here so I can't comment on that, but it's a decent and fairly convenient dump site.

We needed to stay here to allow us to get our truck fixed at the GMC dealer. There were two homeless campers outside in front of the property. We couldn’t get a sewer hose connected which was not a big deal as they did have a dump station. While we were there a stranger came up to our camper looking for someone else. Didn’t feel real safe there. As a result we left a day early. There is noise from Home Depot PA about every 30 minutes or so. The staff was very nice and was very flexible with our reservations. Wi-fi worked. My truck needed a jump and one of the maintenance hands came over and helped get us going. Thank you. Overall a mix of long term residents and transients. It met our needs but probably would not stay there again.

Apparently whoever is running the phone is unwilling to answer the phone. I tried calling during business hours at three different time periods within a span of three hours because I needed to ask a question. I only wanted to know if their rv dump station was available. On all three calls, I was hung up on before I even said hello. A business who is willing to hang up on potential clients without even talking to them throws up big concerns...

Still a dive, thank goodness I was only passing thru

Never been there, so please excuse the 2 stars. I just wanted to say they don't have regular tent camping. I recently called hoping to find somewhere near Salem to tent camp. Have no car so not sure where to go.

This campground is more of an RV/trailer park. More people live there than camp there. There are 2 sides to the campgrounds, if you want to help the homeless stay to the left. They camp by the river. If your one of those group of people that are afraid of them, stay to the right, and hope carma isn't paying attention when you are talking trash about them! That might be you next, and they might be serving you your first hot meal in weeks from, the very grocery store's trash can that you shop at. The residents of this campground are very friendly and helpful. The children are polite and loads of fun to watch and talk to. Like all places, you get an occasional visit from their local home town heros, the Salem Police Department. Keeping the park safe and on their toes! There is a gas station and convenient store with a hot deli and very kind and helpful manager and staff just before the campground that is within walking distance, if your not lazy.. I will be back there this week for more fun.

Was going through Oregon on our long camping trip through the west coast and got stuck in traffic due, to an accident. We searched online for a place to stay for the night and found this one close by. It was night and the host Phil was great. My wife had to use the restroom after we had set up and she couldn't because it was locked at night. The following morning went to the restroom and couldn't because the only three toilets were clogged. I addressed it to the office manager, only to get nothing but bad attitude. She shook her head like a chicken and told me, (there is nothing I can do about that). Then I asked if she can call someone a plumber maybe and she slammed her hands on the table like if I was a bother. I decided not to say anything else and left.as I walked back to my rig, I thought I was in a apocalypse the way the place looked. Terrible, people welding, junk cars and trash everywhere. ( ghetto). Not safe and do not recommend it at all.
