I have friends who stay here year round and the place is amazing. The grounds are well kept, all the staff is very friendly and helpful, all the guests seem to love the place. Personally I have stayed in the yurts many times and love them. They are very large, have all the conveniences you’d want, and have a bathroom and shower just outside the yurt. Can’t say enough about this place, love it.

Lovely park! We were here for six months while attending a class. The grounds were meticulously cared for. There were roses in front of the restrooms and flower pots around the park had petunias. There are two dog parks; a large one for running and a small one just for the dogs to do their business. Staff was friendly and efficient. Full disclosure, there is some traffic noise, but we definitely stay there again. Grocery store is close and there is a huge waterfront park a few miles away which is great for walking, running, or bicycling. And, it has a carousel.

The park is clean, and the staff in the office and those working in the park are friendly. However, I had a negative experience with our weekly stay. When I booked, I was informed that since I was booking for a week at a time, I might need to move around the park if it became busy. I was okay with this and understood the situation. We booked for a week because we were selling our house and didn’t want to be there during showings. Luckily, our house went under contract before the week was up, so I called the office to let them know we wouldn’t need the second week we had originally considered. I asked if we would be charged for a second week, and I was told, “No, we’re good.” We left the park, but a week later, I received a departure letter and a “How was your stay?” email. When I checked my account, I saw that I had been charged for the second week. I immediately called the office, and was told they would look into it and speak to the manager. Both times I called, I was assured the manager would most likely refund the charge, since we hadn’t stayed for the second week. I was promised a call back the following day, but no one reached out. When I finally did receive a call, it was not from the manager but from one of his employees. She apologized for the delay, explaining they had been busy, and then informed me that they wouldn’t be issuing a refund. The reason? “They were holding a space for me.” I understand holding a space during peak season, but the park was nearly empty when we arrived and left. There were only a few RVs on the road we were on, and the roads behind us had even fewer. It was not peak season, and plenty of spaces were available. What upset me most was that I was told initially that because I was booking as a weekly guest, I might be moved around if the park got busy. Given how empty the park was, I didn’t understand why they were “holding a space” for us, especially when I had vacated before the second week even started. It’s really disappointing to have to write this review. I’ve recommended this park to several people, friends, and even my parents have stayed here when visiting. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be recommending it again—especially when it feels like they’re taking advantage of guests during the off-season to make extra money. It’s even more frustrating when the manager has his employees handle these issues instead of addressing them himself.

Stayed here while in salem for the state fair. We're normally state/national park campers and prefer to steer clear of RV parks but this place is different. Spots aren't wedged together and there lots of greenery all around. Great pool/hot tub and even better staff. Super clean, tons of amenities. About the only drawback is having to be in Salem, lol. We already booked next year's trip and are looking into booking a trip involving one of their other sites for next summer, as well

Great place, not far from home. Has a very pool and excellent hot tub. Offers a good little park with a merry go round. Kept up great by landscapers and maintenance. Bathroom cleaning hours could be in earlier in the morning but can work around schedule. Would definitely come back to this location.
