Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA Holiday
When you visit the Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA, we make your stay memorable.
Welcome to our KOA, a green oasis only 3/4 mile off I-40, with long, level, shaded Pull-Thru RV Sites, Deluxe and Camping Cabins, a tiny house, and grassy Tent Sites. You'll find fantastic, free Wi-Fi that is strong enough to stream on, great satellite reception (make sure you request a satellite-friendly spot), and many digital air channels with your antenna. Due to the poor quality that is available, we do not offer city cable. Enjoy the pool, jump pad, WaterWars, walking trails, fishing pond, playground, gaga ball pit, box hockey, washer toss, volleyball, and KampK9. The rec room has a kitchen, treadmill, board games, books, puzzles, and a 50-inch TV/DVD player with movies. Make this KOA your base camp while you discover all the area has to offer, including restaurants, antique stores, Native American history, casinos, farmers' markets, train rides, all while just 25 miles from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Explore the beautiful Ouachita or Boston mountains, Robert S. Kerr Reservoir, or Lake Tenkiller, where hiking, biking, boating, scuba diving, and fishing are plentiful. We also fill propane tanks mounted on RVs or portables from 20#-100#! Pool: May 20 - October 1. Max pull thru: 90 feet. Your hosts: the Maust family.

Great spot and decent value. Staff was friendly... booking, check in and check out was easy as pie. We stayed in camping cabin # 2. Full bed and bunks. Clean sheets, pillows and a blanket provided. We brought our own extra blankets and we did use them. Cabin heater worked well to keep the room very comfortable. Small tv worked though we ended up using our hot spot on our phone as it was faster than the provided wifi. You do have a bit of a walk to the bathrooms, no bathroom in our cabin. Bathrooms were clean, shower was hot and worked very well for us. Would choose this 10 times out of 10 over a Hotel. Would return anytime we were in Sallisaw.

We only stayed one night due to the fact that we were traveling in a RV. The site is level and far enough apart and the entire campground is wooded, making it feel very private. It has a very nice little dog park. This is close enough off the 40 to make it convenient and everything was quite nice. It would definitely be another stay if we come back this way.

We had an excellent stay at this KOA 2 times during our road trip West. The entire campground was spotless — from the restrooms to the campsites, everything was so well maintained. You can really tell the staff takes pride in keeping the property clean and comfortable. The management team was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure guests were happy. It’s one of the nicest and most well-run campgrounds we’ve stayed at, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

The camp manager was a breath of fresh air. She was so accommodating and kind to everyone that entered. She met us at the door and even checked on us at the pool. We have stayed in several Koas and this is by far the best one yet. Pool, water game area, lake, basketball court, Gaga ball, tether ball, corn hole, ladder ball and a huge pavilion. Bathrooms were handicapped accessible and huge shower areas.
