Great campground under the pines. This place has a huge Rec hall that has two different indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, an outdoor stage, basketball court, dog parks, golf cart trail, a general store, horseshoes, a path to the beautiful river, a large playground, fishing pond. On top of it all the general manager of the campground is a stand up guy, his name is Tony and he has really done a fantastic job with that place. I’ve been going there off and on since 2021 and the place has only gotten better!

It’s easy to see the owners of this camp ground put their heart into running this beautiful place! I experienced clean, cared for facilities. The pools are kept as sanitary as humanly possible. No matter what time I walked I saw such natural beauty and care. I always got a great feeling of kindness from the staff. They have so much to do here for everyone it can’t be listed. Food, ice cream, a store. Just a few things that I think would be wise. 2 dogs to a site, it’s impossible to stop the constant barking of more than 2! Do something immediately about the flooding. Fill, drainage pipes, anything Clean up and update the mini golf course. This is a true find, and I’m sure the owners are already coming up with a plan!! Love this place.

My family and I have been seasonals for over 12 years here; Our two daughters have practically been raised here every summer. We absolutely love our home away from home! We love having the opportunity to enjoy ourselves from a long work week whether utiliIng one of the indoor and outdoor pools, participating in one of the many activites offered, or just sitting by the fire with the friends who have grown to be family. While no campground or person is perfect, it is very clear that everyone here, from the owners to the campers themselves, take great pride in making sure that any issues found get resolved to the best of their ability. If you are looking for a place with an incredible sense of community and fun, look no further. Thank you so much Salmon Falls for all of the wonderful memories.

We like to play as many different mini golf courses in Maine as possible. We visited for mini golf only which was nice that it was open to the public and not just for the campground participants like other places we've attempted to try. So this review is only for the mini golf course specifically since we didn't partake of the campground in general. It was obvious that the course was planned and constructed with thought and care from the elements and theme. However, it was equally obvious that it has been degrading in quality over the years with little and unimpressive maintenance efforts. The very first hole gave that indication when we noticed it was nearly impossible to sink the ball in the cup since the lip of the cup was higher than the grade of the green most of the way around forming a channel or ditch that the ball would just get stuck and ride in. More than the first hole had this same issue. Other issues on this course included rundown and ragged greens, strange obstacle items, ant hills, and many large flying bugs. The course has no trees or shrubs and is all in the open, is mostly flat and easy to access, but that also means that the course layout and hole design is not very complex. The challenge of this course is something other than the traditional and common elements of a mini golf course. Not planning on returning for mini golf unless it is majorly overhauled. Can't recommend this for good mini golf play.

Great Campground! Thankfully not overly commercialized. Very friendly and helpful staff, and remarkably friendly seasonal campers! This is our first year seasonal, and we were welcomed and made to feel right at home. There is never any shortage of folks willing to lend a hand when needed. Amenities are great! From the two pools, the restaurants, and the activities for the children you couldn't ask for a better place! I would highly recommend over and over!
