This was my first time going to the springs and it was amazing. As someone who is terrified of sea life, it was a very friendly safe location. There were workers watching from up top, the people were friendly, the fish were beautiful. We saw sting rays, blue crabs, bottom dwellers, and I heard some people saw catfish when they swam into the springs! They are a little nit picky with the rules (no paddles, no kiyaks etc) but it is a very small spring so this is understandable. It was a little expensive and the shop was closed when we went, so make sure to pack a lot of snacks and water in case. The picnic area was friendly as well, we left out stuff there and nobody messed with it besides the volunteer that threw our stuff around and opened our bags, but we packed light so it wasn’t a deal breaker.

The scenery is the best part about this resort. The landscaping everywhere is amazing. And the view of the lake is wonderful. If you want to rent, you have to check out Airbnb or one of those sites. But with the amount of HOA, everyone pays, you would think that they could help keep it a little nicer here. I love that everything is a little bit shabby, but some stuff is a little too much. The pool area needs desperate attention.

You want to know what’s crazy? I came to visit this place with my 9 year son for the first time to spend some father son time together and go fishing on 6/28/25 and by 7/02/25 we are officially under contract to purchase a lot for ourselves! This place is absolutely gorgeous. Yes, there are some things that need updated. The pool is one of them for sure and so is the clubhouse and there’s other little small things as well. But at the same time, all of these things are fully functional and good for what it is and that’s also what gives the place a little character, history and kind of a country feel which is exactly what I was looking for. If you enjoy being out in the country on the lake, this place is for you. We’re gonna have fires and s’mores and get jet skis or a boat and just relax and live life because that’s what this place is for!

Spots are tight and extremely limited. It is really a retirement community. The pools are always dirty & broken. The concrete area all around the pool is broken. Some spot have grass, some pile of dirt. The walk to the lake area is a mess. They rarely cleaned up to broken limbs or mowed. The hot tub is broken & shut down. Everything about this place is old, broken and neglected. Sad because it once was fun and clean.

Amazing place to stay. Very clean, Super nice and friendly management. They make sure everyone is following the rules. Is gated so it made us felt safe. You can walk or ride your bike to the Springs. My kids loved it. This is now our favorite place to spend some vacation days. We will be back 💜💜💜.

Absolutely horrendous. The website immediately charged me $111 for two nights but on arrival, there was no record of my reservation and only complaints about poor training, bad hoa, and something about never should use Airbnb. Note: I didn't use Airbnb. I used the website.

The RV we arbnb was awesome. The resort itself is run down, no beach on the lake. All the amenities were either not usable or broken down. Pools were dirty. Salt springs recreation area was nice just down the street. Salt Springs Pizza had great food and service. But the bar next door is only open Thursday to Sunday.
