Dirty South Fishing Texas
This was the perfect relaxation. I arrived Sunday camped thru Monday. Basically had the park to myself. I had a great time catching, the lake has some nice bass in there. I will be back again. Everything was nice and clean. I left it the same way I found it clean.

It's been a good and quiet camp trip Lake could really use a clean up from the invasive weeds .

We had a great time. First-time campers and this location had everything we needed. The camp hosts were super friendly and gave us some great advice.

Our visit to Sam Houston National Forest was amazing! We're eager to come back and camp soon. I've always been passionate about nature, and exploring with my family has been a dream. If I could, I'd go every day! The trail was incredibly enjoyable!

Absolutely lovely place. The campsites are fire. East Texas is a true gem for nature enthusiasts and Texans alike. I have lived in Texas all my life and have never been. When I came I had a little disagreement with the camp host but came to later understand how he was under a lot of stress that didn't help when I moved my camping area to a nicer location. I was at fault and should have requested sooner. Luckily it all worked out. I hope to come back in the future to spend more time with the pines.
