KOA's are generally pretty good. This however is my absolute favorite! It's such a safe and secure environment for kids, you don't have to worry. There is so much fun stuff for them to do on their own, the staff lives on site and are all amazing folks. We stayed here for over six months (my husband worked in the area) and we visited from time to time, it was like a vacation in a vacation for our kids (9 and 12). Fun fact. To be a monthly camper KOA requires background checks. That sealed the deal for us! š„°šš¤©. Thank you San Antonio KOA. We love you!

We truly like this campground and would highly recommend. Campground was very clean and well kept with beautiful landscaping and nice gravel sites. The store was stocked nicely and the cafe was nice and made it easy to grab a quick breakfast or dinner. The staff was friendly and exceptional and very happy to help especially since we needed to extend our stay due to the bad weather. Campground was close to the Riverwalk and Alamo. We took the bus that picked up and dropped off at the campground.

Our ten nights we stayed here was such a positive experience. For knowing nothing about the area the staff in the office was so help full and friendly to answer all our questions. The park is so nice, and facilities clean a must stay when in the area. Close to everything in downtown San Antonio. We used the bus that stops outside the park drops you about a block and a half away from the river walk. Worked great . Big thank you to everyone at the San Antonio KOA for all you do and making our stay so memorable!

First KOA experience and very impressed. Grounds are very well maintained. Staff incredibly helpful and professional. The facility is gated and has amenities for dogs, kids, and adults very close to downtown. Will 100% be back. (Only reason the āroomsā didnāt get 5 stars was the gavel back in instead of a concrete pad but everything was packed and level)

We stayed here two nights. Perfect spot to catch an Uber to the Alamo and river walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You could tell they enjoyed working here. Exceptional customer service all around. The pool was sparkling and refreshing on a warm day. The grounds were clean and well manicured. Plenty of space and things to do for the kiddos as well. This may be the best KOA that we've ever stayed at. We are full time in our rv so we have plenty of experience with rv parks and KOAs specifically.

We had wonderful 3 nights at this awesome campground. Everything here is perfect and well taken care of. The Sites are Beautiful, the washrooms and showers so clean and Perfect. The laundry well functioning. We took the Bus to Downtown and back, Great! When We arrived, Ron was bringing us to the dump station and to our site and gave us tips where to go in town. We loved our stay here.

Such an amazing experience! The staff is the nicest youāll find! So helpful and so accommodating! We had a problem with some squirrels throwing nutshells on our roof at night which scared the dog𤣠but they didnāt even bark at us about wanting to move. They simply moved our site for us and it was greatly appreciated! They also gave us great advice on how to get into town via the bus or uber. It was one of our best experiences at a campground

This KOA was perfect for my family of four (2 adults and 2 dogs!). We arrived a little late, but the guard at the entrance was very helpful in guiding us to our lot. The campground is quite large, with plenty of trees and shade throughout. The pool was clean, the bathrooms and showers even had AC, and there was a fun common area with table tennis and foosball. Thereās also a walking trail nearby, which was super convenient. We stayed here while attending a concert at the Alamodome ā it was only about a 15-minute drive, which made it very easy. I also worked remotely on Friday and found the Wi-Fi reliable, though it was a bit spotty on Saturday when the campground got busier. Overall, we had a great experience and canāt wait to come back!

I cannot say enough great things about this campground! The proximity to San Antonio sites like the Alamo and the River Walk made it very convenient. But the best part was definitely Alyssa and all of the fun activities she had planned for the kids! Our kids participated in a pie-eating competition, patriotic BINGO, and water kickball. All of the events were so much fun! Alyssa does an amazing job getting the kids excited and involved, and sheās great at remembering their names! Our children definitely made memories that will last a lifetime!

10/10 would recommend bathrooms are clean, awesome playground for the kids, pool is clean, Staff is friendly, lots of spots and nice cabins, will be back this is my 8th time going! But only one thing could stand to water the plants more like the ones by the pool thatās it thanks for letting me and my family stay! The city bus was really helpful for downtown because downtown parking can be really hard to find or 50 dollars just to park. I would take the city bus and you can ask the front desk ladyās about the bus and how to use it.

This is a nice KOA that is located less than 15 minutes from The Alamo and River-walk. It's about 5 minutes from the AT&T Center where the Spurs play. It is also on the City Bus Line that takes you to the Alamo (about 26 minutes). The staff is outstanding and very helpful. Plenty of places to walk your dog to include an 8 mile paved recreation trail. The sites are close together. They appear to be adding more patio sites and I recommend reserving one of those for this park.

AMAZING KOA. Check in area is very spacious and organized. Plenty of room for multiple RVs to park and check in at the same time. Gated entry gate with security guard is a nice addition. Facility is clean and well laid out. Pool is very nice. Laundry was clean, brightly lit, and everything worked. Cooked to order breakfast was wonderful. We only stopped for one night, but would have liked to stay longer. Staff is welcome and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean restrooms & common areas. Sites are on the smaller side, by well maintained and clean. Lots of sites; it was busy busy when we were here. But it didn't seem crowded. Staff was beyond friendly. Breakfast was decent. They even have a small lake (pond really) stocked with bass and bluegill for catch & release fishing.

Nice RV space and they are updating spaces now. Great cabins available to rent, lots of RV spaces. Make sure of site size because my unit and tow vehicle would not fit in the space. Had to park in an empty site sharing it with neighbors. I would come back for sure, the workers were very nice and helpful. Gave it 5 because overall great spot. Easy to get to Sea World, Alamo, river walk and great food.
