My rating is based on my in laws experience and my short experience. They were there for a full day and other than the fact that it was noon smoking they enjoyed it. My wife, Sun, and I drove 2days straight without stopping and was planning on meeting my in laws somewhere else. My father in law talked to the manager and even though they didn't have a spot available for us to even pop a tent. They showed us to stay overnight(we had to sleep in the car) and use the amenities with no charge to us or extra charge to my in laws

Camped in an RV. Very friendly, big campground great for kids. Very clean and well kept. Never used the restrooms. Only had 1 problem. Quite time 10pm but it is not enforced. We had some very loud young girls 6 of them, and a parent having a problem at 11pm in our campsite, right by our bedroom? It lasted about 15 min and then they continued on. You could hear very loud talking until 11:30. If anyone was patrolling they couldn’t miss the noise.

This is a KOA Resort. The highest level of KOA, with the most amenities, I believe there are only three in California, and this is the only one in northern California. It has at least 60 cabins and is a very large park. It is near San Francisco. For those that complain about the kids and the noise, this park is designed for families with their kids to have fun, and for large groups. We stayed here for 6 nights because nothing else was available in Napa or Sonoma valleys and we wanted to visit the wine country. The location gave us good access to the wineries in the valleys, many excellent restaurants, and a casino close by. It is a nice, well kept park with beautiful trees and vegetation and a great staff.

Very noisy on a Saturday in mid-May. The pool and spa were great. We stayed in a tent site for just one night; it was small and a bit hummocky. It had some grass which made a nice base for our tent, and was partly shaded by an oak tree. We were separated from our neighbors' space by a rope; there was no privacy hedge or anything like that. The laundromat was fine; I was able to get a washing machine right away. It's cashless...you download an app and load some money on it with a credit card or similar means, and then you use that to pay. It's kind of a rip-off because as far as I can figure out the minimum you can load is $25, and I don't know if I'm ever going to use that app again. The bathrooms and showers were clean, but...the nearest showers to the tent area were way too small. There's really no way to keep your clothes and shoes dry. There are full bathrooms with showers up by the pool, and they would be super nice...but the hot water wasn't working in the one I used. The controls are not marked, so I just kept turning the handle different ways trying t6get it to warm up, but nothing worked. So I took an unpleasant cold shower. The silver lining was that they aren't coin or token showers, so there's that. The staff I spoke to were all very nice.

We stayed at the San Francisco North Petaluma KOA for two nights. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay even longer. We booked a premium patio end site number D48. It is hands down the most wonderful site we have ever stayed in anywhere. Beautiful Redwood trees all around and a stunning grassy garden area as perimeter. Just awesome! The people who run the campground are totally on the ball and everything is kept in perfect order. You should book your stay today! Only 35 minutes from Napa!

I hosted our RV club and had 12 plus rigs in the campground for a whole weekend. Everything was excellent. The maintenance staff went out of their way to make sure was perfect. Kathleen our group coordinator was easy to work with. Overall, we had a great time.

I've been coming year for a very long time. Every time we come, something has been improved. The service is fantastic and their hot tub is welcoming after long travels and daytime exploring (and they finally lowered the temperature from scalding to hot 😆).

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was so cute and clean. Very comfortable bed and had all the needed essentials. What a great way to stay! The staff was very friendly. The campground is beautifully landscaped and maintained. I enjoy walking the large campground and enjoying all its beautiful plants and trees. You will love it!

October 2025... I wasn't thrilled by this place at all. Its no longer a campground, its a trailer park. Full of trailers and cheap looking "cabins". The noise was awful. Kids running rampant screaming and doing as they please with no adults watching them. They were recklessly speeding down hills on their bikes that were clearly marked no bikes. Can we say law suit. The "tent site" that I had was full of little black blobs that looked like dog poop. Thanks KOA/ Trailer Parks of America. The bathroom smelled like pee with trash bits all over. And the shower put out a stinging spray of water that just shoots out into the bathroom main area. Its get your belongings all wet and cant be adjusted. And why do they never have a shelf in the shower for your shampoo and soap. Noone wants thier stuff to touch that gross floor. I only stayed one night and the smell in the AM was atrocious! The smoggy polluted city air coupled with the smell of dog poop just hung there in the chilly October air. I only stayed here because there weren't any other campground options. Honestly Ive only ever found one truly nice KOA/TPOA and it was in Twin Fally Idaho. Shameful for the horrendous price to tent for one night. Never again!

This was a wonderful KOA to stay at. Their spaces were lovely and large! We were there as a couple but this park would be fantastic for kids with their play area, pool, & just space to ride bikes & play! Lots of good area to walk our dog plus a puppy park to let him off leash! Bathrooms & showers were well kept & clean! Spaces were cleaned up nicely as well. We stayed here because of the convenience of being able to get over to Sonoma/Napa, but also go to the ocean!

Bathrooms were not cleaned for two days. We were here on a Halloween weekend extremely busy. It was delightful to see how people were catering to the kids. This park is a kid KOA and I for one loved seeing kids off phones out in the park riding their bikes looking for pumpkins and enjoying life thank you KOA for providing that Maybe just a brush up on the bathrooms more often.

We stayed one night as a stop over. Very nice park, easy to navigate the roads if you follow the map, and clean. I forgot our Firestick for streaming, DoorDash came to the rescue, although you must meet them outside the park. I like the bracelet UI, nice to easily charge to our site, and card on file. My only complaint is the price, at $130 for a simple pull standard pull though seems a bit much. StarLink was decent.

For the sake of this review, Rooms = RV Site #A014: Tonite will be our 23rd night on the road (45 day trip) as we tour US 101, beginning in Poulsbo, WA on Puget Sound in the north, proceeding north to Sequim, WA, west to Forks, WA, and then south along the coastlines of Washington, Oregon, and now northern California. This KOA is the best we have seen. Clean, and beautifully maintained. All the amenities you might hope for. Large, very nicely appointed sites with all the utilities you could expect. Rural location with no discernible traffic noise. Polite professional staff. We will definitely recommend this park to our friends and family.

Absolutely amazing! What a beautiful, well kept place. The pool & hot tub are perfect. Everything is clean, laundry is easy with apple pay. There shop is awesome too with wood,marshmallows & sticks. The goats are cute & friendly. Thank you to Sherri for your wonderful customer service. We will definitely be back!
