One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

Totally overbearing camp host. She said her district manager is the one driving her actions but... She complained about the size of our firewood. Said the pieces were too big but, she could SELL us some of the appropriate size. There is NOTHING but dirt and sand for YARDS around the firepit. Hung up some wet towels and other small items to dry. She demanded they be taken down. Only one bathroom was unlocked. Three years ago we loved the place but we won't be back here. She needs to mind her own business and leave others who are not bothering anyone else alone.

Nice clean bathrooms, hard working gal. I love the campground and the host.

This was a decent campground while touring through Colorado. The spaces between campsites are decent. Only complaint I had was with the road from the highway. It has to be the worse dirt road I've ever driven on. Pot holes all over. If you are pulling a travel trailer, be advised to go real slow. Otherwise you probably will need a front wheel alignment after you get done traveling on it. I'm surprised the forest service allowed it to get so bad. Other than that, a great place to camp!

The actual camp site was great; everything else, not so much. The camp host was an older lady on a power trip that for some reason was picking on us for anything and everything she could ( what type of fire wood we burnt, how we started the fire, she even tried telling us we were late for getting checked out 3 hours too early). The bathrooms were dirty and she said they don't have anything to deal with the bathrooms. Get good hosts and the place would be perfect!
