Great reservoir, vary big, fishing wasn't great when I came in November but overall it was beautiful with plenty of shoreline line to fish.

Not the best place for your furry friend but some space stretch out. Beautiful views. Kimmy gives one paw š¾ up.

Such a hidden gem. Needed a spot to camp on a road trip and found this great spot for one night. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises.

Best place to rest, take pictures, learn, and historical about this place, all free to public they don't even take your donation. Restrooms are awesome too.

Due to hot, windy around this time (i.e June/July), we didnāt get a chance to bring out the portable wood-burning firepit. We decided to cut 1-day short too. Overall, a nice place but hot/windy weather makes it hard for campers.

A very large reservoir with a beautiful view of mountains behind. Be wary of the strong winds in the region. There is a visitor center here with information on the history of the reservoir, and it also has restrooms for the public to use. The drive around the reservoir is one of the best things to experience on the way from LA to the bay area. Overall I would really recommend making a small halt to experience the breathtaking views this place has to offer.

Beautiful area. before we found the visitor center on the road there were beautiful views but difficult to find a place to stop to enjoy them. The visitor area handles that nicely, but you do miss some of the dramatic views along the way. I wish there were more pull-overs on the road.

Great unexpected roadside attraction. My family went to the bathroom there in the heatwave, and it was pretty and informative. The binoculars were super easy to use and fun, and the AC was great! μΠΩ

stopped spontaneously on my way down to Irvine because it was beautiful and the pullout was right there. Had a great time hiking. There's no trails, but you don't need any. You can roam where you please.
