The owners were friendly. The sites were level, the bathhouse and laundry were clean. It was very close to Joyful Journeys Hotsprings and only about an hour from the Great Sand Dunes National Park. This is a wonderful place for stargazing and looking at the mountains.

Highly recommend this campsite! My bikepacking friend and i really enjoyed our over-night stay in a tent site. What a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom and showers were very clean and well lit. I forgot my iPhone charger cable and the owner was nice enough to give me one of his own personal ones. Also, our riding plans got altered and he allowed us to leave our car near the campsite solar panels for a couple extra nights while we rode parts of the Great Divide mountain bike route. An added bonus for me was the encouraging words written on the shower and bathroom walls.

Honestly, this campground is amazing, but the people running it are what make it truly special. My car broke down while I was here, and while I was waiting for AAA, they went out of their way to help me out. I can’t even explain how much that meant! They honestly restored my faith in humanity. On top of that, the place is super clean, quiet, and has beautiful views. Once I get everything sorted out, I definitely want to come back and enjoy it under better circumstances.

This is an absolutely wonderful campground with stunning views! A little over an hour away from the Great Sand Dunes and within minutes of a hot springs. The owners are very welcoming and helpful if we had any questions. They offer both full RV/camper pull through sites with the needed hookups, along with tent sites. Other services include clean shower rooms, laundry, ice and a nice seating area. They also have a small vending machine with drinks and candy! Each Campsite has a picnic table and fire pit. And don’t worry if you forgot firewood as they have bundles available. Overall this is a great small little campground you can come and get away from the hustle and just relax.

We spent four unforgettable days and three nights at this campsite during Memorial Weekend. The entire site was incredibly well-equipped, with trees separating each camping area, ensuring a great level of privacy. The facilities were outstanding, featuring rustic look and clean restrooms, showers, and a laundry room, making everything very convenient. One of the highlights was the dog park, where the lush grass provided the perfect surface for dogs to run freely and enjoy their happy moments. Each morning, we woke up to the breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains, a sight that added to the serene and relaxing atmosphere. This campsite is truly a perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

Quiet small RV park set In the broad valley surrounded by a small grove of pines with excellent vistas East, West, and South. Cash only. Easy in and out. Good walking on the roads to the west. Clean heated restrooms and showers.

Fair price for what you get. Pleasantly surprised that the scenery was as nice as it was ... the campground isn't anything special but you do have some good views of the surrounding mountains. Bathrooms were acceptable for being clean (as opposed to some Colorado campgrounds I had visited that had showers that were unacceptable and disgusting). Tent site could use a bit of work to upgrade electrical and communal sink - small details can make a big difference to stay experience.

Fair priced, high desert base camp for many activities. The Persieds were pretty good this year. Staff is top notch with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend this place.

Great place right off the hwy. Love the trees and the staff. Solar supplemented electricity. Good amenities. Great place to stay while checking out all the mountain trails and close to two hot springs resorts.

Nice quiet campground. Get your groceries town is 20-50 miles away, there is a dollar general 15-20 miles away (can't remember exactly how far but wasn't close) no issues, they have a shower house with laundry. Owners were super nice!! Has about 19 sites.
