Don’t believe what is posted on their website. Totally overpriced for what you “don’t get”. We paid for a pull thru and because the water wasn’t working at that only pull thru site, we had to move to a back -in site. No reimbursement. All shower/restroom facilities were inoperative. No wifi except at the Office where we told we could use it for 1 hour, but the Office was never open. The water spigot at the back-in site that we had to move to was all rusty and even though we used a filter we were leery of the water. The campground is very run down and needs a lot of work. We would never stay here again.

Looking to head to lake Michigan But all the Indiana dunes camp grounds are booked up 8 months in advance? Then this is the spot for you. Not to far away for all that stuff! And not always packed! The owners live right on the property so if you need anything they are there to help. Only negative I could find is the water is has a serious rust issue. It has all the showers all rusty and it smells terrible. I didn't even put my head under the water & I chose not to shower the rest of the time I was there. And the women I was with said there hair smelt like it. Probably well water or something. I hope they can get that fixed somehow with some sort of filter or something. I love the place and I will continue to come back no matter what.

The campground itself looks maintained well, they have a basket ball court and a few other small activities and lots of room to walk/run the driveway. I see lots of potential here I wish I would have stayed prior to the new ownership. I did not enjoy my stay at all under the new owners, I am working in the area and so my time aswell as phone access is verry limited and I notified them that, they were willing to work around it but then he kept forgetting our conversations ever happened, they thought we were squatters when we first arrived and they gave us an eviction notice and threatening cops. We got that under control and there seemed to be issues every day ! They don’t know what they are doing at all ! I do not recommend staying here what so ever!! Worst service from a campground I have EVER experienced in my travels! They are expensive and they don’t give money back if you leave early. Just terrible service! I do not recommend!

We stayed here one night in October in a travel trailer while traveling coast to coast. This campground is not in the best location for traveling through but we were tired and wanted to stop for the night. The showers were very sketchy with all the rust covering the walls. The photos provided with another review are accurate We used water in the trailer since it is filtered. The photos with the reviews are accurate. The bathroom near us was out of toilet paper so I carried some extra that I keep when traveling. They have serious drain issues that need to be taken care of. I tried a different building with a bathroom the next morning and the entire area in front of the building was flooded. The staff was friendly although I was given some religious information that I didn't ask for. I was really glad that we were only staying for the night. I personally would not stay here again.

Campground is in a weird spot kinda hard to find. The sites aren’t too close together and there’s a good amount of trees which is nice. The water and electric worked just fine on our site but some sites were down. There was no soap in the bathrooms and they weren’t the best but also not the worst I’ve seen. The firewood we bought was wet so it was very difficult to start a fire. The fire pit was also very small. It’s a fine place to stay the night in between places, but I wouldn’t pay as much as I did for the site. It’s $30-something for a primitive tent site and $45 for an RV full hookup site. The payment is on an honestly policy which was convenient for us because we were poorly prepared and didn’t have cash. I might come back if I need a place to stay like this time, but I won’t come back for fun

I will start with the only drawback. The bath house that we used was disappointing. One really smelly and trash in the floor. Not cleaned regularly. No toilet paper available. The staff member was very friendly and the campground was well kept and clean. I realize it's hard right now to find enough good help, so this is forgivable and, hopefully, easy to remedy. I

Idyllic, clean, mixture of shade and sun, informative and welcoming staff, great for tent campers all the way up to big rigs. In 2021 this gem is under new ownership and it shows. We are traveling in a conversion van, and the sites were well spaced so no one is on top of each other and everyone has some grass. The way the grounds are laid out, rigs of differing sizes are grouped together, so no one feels like a minnow among whales or vice versa. Also, the layout has these different sections, so you are never fully aware of how many campers there might be. In the past we’ve tent camped and felt like we were shoehorned in. Here there are many beautiful and spacious tent sites. Oh, and the bathrooms were spotless. All in all, quiet and gorgeous!

This place was fantastic! We spent the day at Washington Park Beach in Michigan City. The campgrounds were easily accessible and a short drive. The owners are on site and very friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one overnight because I had to go back to work the next day. However, we’ll definitely make this a regular spot!! Bathrooms were super clean, well stocked and modern showers with hot water readily available. This place is a little gem! So happy we found it!
