We've stayed here twice in the past month and it is a truly excellent resort. The cabins are fully furnished, air conditioned, and very clean and cozy. This is the place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy the quiet of the Northwoods, it's not a party destination. Lake is across the road with ample dock space for your boat and Sand Lake offers excellent mukti-species fish. Hayward is only about 12 miles from the resort, plenty of shopping and things to do. The Wilderness Walk Zoo nearby is a great place to take the kids to pet and feed animals.

If I could i would rate this place a negative 5. Not kid friendly a owner of the place told us "I have raised my kids I don't want to hear other kids". All anyone does here is drink. They don't allow 4 wheelers "they need to be trailered in".
