Sandy Beach Tent & Trailer Park

RV Park

Overview

Overview

Situated along the coastal landscapes of southeastern New Brunswick, Sandy Beach Tent & Trailer Park in Cap-Pelé, NB offers travelers a classic Maritime camping experience. The name suggests a coastal orientation, drawing visitors who want to hook up their rigs within reach of the Northumberland Strait. This destination places travelers in a traditionally Acadian region defined by warm salt water, maritime breezes, and a slower pace of life.

Location & Surroundings

Travelers rolling into this region via Route 15 will notice the flat, coastal terrain characteristic of Westmorland County. The area experiences maritime weather patterns, bringing comfortable summer days and breezy evenings off the gulf. Cap-Pelé sits near major regional arteries, making it accessible for road-trippers navigating between Moncton and the Confederation Bridge leading to Prince Edward Island.

Amenities & Park Features

Because specific on-site infrastructure is not universally detailed in public directories beyond what the name implies, visitors should verify core facility details directly with management. Campers should contact the park ahead of arrival to confirm crucial specs, including site dimensions, amperage limits for electrical hookups, and water source availability. Inquiries regarding dump station access, washhouse facilities, and fire ring policies will ensure proper preparation for your stay.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The surrounding coastline serves up iconic Acadian culture and natural scenery. Visitors frequently make the short drive to Aboiteau Beach for expansive sandy shores and boardwalk strolls. Seafood lovers will find themselves in the heart of the local lobster fishery, with numerous fresh markets nearby. Outdoor enthusiasts can also explore the trails and shorelines of nearby provincial parks along the southeastern coast.

Who This Park Is Best For

This destination suits road-trippers and vacationers seeking a coastal basecamp to explore southeastern New Brunswick and the gateway to Prince Edward Island. It appeals to travelers who prioritize beach proximity and regional culture over sprawling resort complexes. Anyone planning a Maritime road trip involving the Northumberland Strait will find this location a practical stop.

We loved our stay, the beach is amazing, we were warmly welcomed! I would say as other have mentioned to be cautious of the size of your rig as maneuvering around can be a bit tricky, camp sites are on the small side. Security was helpful in making sure we were settled properly even with the size issue and they also attended another matter (barking dog left alone at night) very professionally. Thank you!

This is the third summer having my friends annual girl trip at Sandy Beach. We always have a fantastic time, the water is perfect, the sunrise & sunsets are unbeatable. We have set up tents at various locations during the years and they have always had plenty of space including a fire pit and a picnic table on each site. This year we enjoyed some live music, last year they had an incredible firework show and a kid friendly rave on the beach. The only downside is the bathrooms can be a bit of a walk depending on your site. Overall though, I highly recommend and am always looking forward to our next trip!

A stunning beach that when we visited was calm and hosted a beautiful sunset. The beach was clean and the sand incredible.
