We spent three nights here in Nov 2021 at a site down on the river. Magical. Yes we could hear the train on the other side of the Ohio River and the barges that might go by in the night but this just added to the ambiance. Like a step back in time. Family owned and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We were n a 30' Motorhome. I highly recommend Sandy Springs Campground.

Beautiful and well maintained park right on the Ohio river. Great place to come to get away from the crazy world we are in right now. Buckeyes Dairy Bar is a short 10 miles away and good for ice cream and mini golf. Grocery store in Portsmouth is 17 miles or so. If we ever come back this way, we will stay again.

Had fun this weekend. Rain sucked but hopefully this evening and tomorrow is better for everyone still there. Band was good. Got to hang with old friends and the family. Will try to make it back soon!
