We loved our stay at the Sanger/Denton KOA! The park is clean, quiet, and very well kept. There’s a section with full concrete pads and another with gravel back-in sites, which is where we stayed for a month. The sites are spacious with plenty of green grass, and the whole place feels open and comfortable—not crowded at all. The staff is wonderful—Jackie and Sarah were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There are two dog parks (a small one and a larger one), both kept up nicely, and a little pond where you can feed the fish and turtles. It’s easy to get to right off the highway and makes a great place to stay whether it’s for a few days or a longer stay. We really enjoyed our time there and hated to leave!

Its so large. Laundry is always good mile away from where I stayed. Glad for ebike. They will take your trash in morning. Good thing cause thats freakin far up there too. No internet at all. I was at the end almost. Water was slippery. Like I felt no soap ever washed away. My sewer line didnt fit into their thing even with my two options. I was scared to death in the storm and felt like there was no option to shelter. Usually KOA let's you go to bathroom or laundry. But also being so far up there, there was no way. Ant hills are higher then ankle.

Pros: nice trees, quiet location. Cons: terrible internet, and NO hot water in the showers. Seems to be suited for big rigs that don't need the services. Glad we only stayed one night.

Be forewarned when planning to stay here. Management is awful. Many things point to scams, they charge for electric but won’t show you proof of your electric charges. Turns out we had a faulty box/breaker, had to go all the way to management to get it resolved. Emailed the park manager for weeks and she ignored it. Turns out we were being overcharged. They charge random cards on file for fees even after confirming desired card and claim they can’t delete old cards. The dog park is infested with guardia, worms, several dogs were sick. All their staff quit at once because they were treated so poorly. Police show up in the middle of the night due to domestic issues. Random people knocking on trailer doors at 2:00am. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra distance to a nice place. I’ve stayed at a lot of KOA’s and it’s a shame this manager Jacquie is ruining this one.

The concrete pads were great. Clean restrooms and nice size pool. Staff is very friendly. The sunsets were breathtaking. Thank you for making our first trip with our Travel Trailer enjoyable!
