Highly recommend this super fun glamping location! There is so much to do and explore. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to explore the grounds and check out the restaurant and the nearby Scheets Creek Saloon (you can access from the grounds and with the golf cart), both have music on certain nights. Follow the trails to the lake, hike, fish, watch the beautiful sunsets, explore and have fun! Management is also great, Jay, thanks for being so awesome, until next time!!

Just spent a fabulous weekend celebrating birthdays. The staff is amazing and helpful. The tents were perfect for our glamping experience. It is a bit rustic so if you’re looking for a luxury hotel this is not it. spending time relaxing in nature.

I could not speak highly enough of this place, from the minute I got there I realized I chose the best vacation spot for the weekend. The owners & staff are genuinely some of the best people. The service, the quality, everything was superb. Had a quite, relaxing getaway with the fiance & will absolutely be back often. Incredible view of the lake while you eat incredible meals at the restaurant, beautiful inside & out, again service was spectacular, live music nightly. Hiking, adventuring, exploring, spent some hours kayaking the lake followed by a Romantic dinner & drinks overlooking the lake. A wholesome experience all around. I could not recommend this place enough, stop by if you're around, you will not regret it. To Jay, Mark, & the rest of the incredible staff.. Until next time!

I stayed at Sankoty Lakes Resort a few days ago at the beginning of July, and it was an unforgettable experience! The resort is absolutely beautiful, with some of the best views you’ll find anywhere peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a summer getaway. We stayed in one of their spacious, clean, and well-kept cabins, and it felt just like home. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the highlights was taking an evening walk by the lake the fresh air, glowing sunset, and quiet atmosphere made for a magical experience. We also rented a golf cart to explore more of the resort, which was super fun and convenient! They also offer a great RV park, which is perfect for campers and road trippers. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, family trip, or even a wedding or special event, Sankoty Lakes Resort is the perfect venue. Highly recommend this place, I’ll definitely be coming back!

An Unforgettable Stay in Nature's Lap – Perfect for Families! We had the most wonderful experience staying at this resort — it truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and top-notch service by the host Jaimin, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The location is absolutely breathtaking — nestled in nature, with a stunning view of the ponds and a serene riverfront just steps away. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to enjoy short nature walks and explore the surrounding beauty. Our kids had an amazing time too! The resort is incredibly kid-friendly, with plenty of open space and safe areas for them to play and explore. It’s rare to find a place that caters so thoughtfully to families while still offering tranquility for adults. The accommodations were clean, spacious, and offered unbeatable value for money. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the view of the water each morning was simply magical. Whether you’re looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or spend quality time with loved ones, this resort is a hidden gem. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back!

What a great park!! Away from the main area, very quiet with a great view of the lake. Sites are large, concrete and level. No trouble with the water/power and they are located in good spots. Loved the daily garbage pickup. The internet was easily the fastest we have ever experienced. Granted there were only 5 or 6 other rigs there, but WOW was it fast. Staff was super friendly. $48/night was a bit pricey, but if we need to stay in Peoria again for a night or two, we would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 4 has a great time in the glamping tents! The staff is friendly and helpful, the tents were clean and very comfortable. The property was beautiful and we had a great time with our little ones at the beach and fishing! Being able to bring bikes to get around the property was awesome! Will definitely book here again!

We have been multiple times just for lake days and have loved it. This time we stayed in one of the glamping tents and had just as amazing of an experience! The staff is amazing and have truly thought of everything. The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is that only a very small portion of the beach has been open this summer, but that is never communicated. The food at the restaurant is amazing, but the serving staff is new and struggled with the amount of customers.

We are a family of 7 and had so much fun with our boys, kayaking, boating , riding around on the golf cart and spending time together around the bonfire. The cabin was clean ,spacious with a full stocked kitchen made it easy to take care of our Boys and prepare food. All staff was pleasant and had great manners. Kim Marsh took excellent care of us and we highly recommend taking your family here for a relaxing weekend to remember!

We've been camping for 5 years and have stayed at dozens of parks from Virginia to Florida and Texas off the coasts at beautiful RV resorts. We just finished staying a week at Sankoty and this resort is definitely top 5 for me. The staff is nice and very accommodating. They've made this resort feel first class. We live about 1 1/2 hr away and so thankful a place like this is so close. We will definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you Sankoty for such a great stay.
