If I could leave zero reviews I would. No Van camping allowed should be posted all over this site! We booked an RV site 4 months in advance for one week, paying $600 No where on the booking portion of the site does it state that you cannot be staying in a van. We are camping out of our Ford Transit van. Not a mini van or a car. A large van. And on an RV site. When booking I chose a truck camper, thinking that our van would be considered that. When we pulled in after a 3 day drive from Colorado, they quickly turned us away stating that our van was not commercialized. They did refund us while at the same time a sprinter van rolled in. Apparently sprinter vans are allowed, but our van was not. Completed BS. When asked their reasoning, they stated it was due to the homeless population. Clearly, we are not homeless and were able to afford a week long RV site. In retrospect, we are happy that it did not work out. That place is jammed full with huge motorhomes on top of each other. We would have smelled their exhaust and heard their generators all night long!

We just spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it very much. The park sits beneath a beautiful redwood forest yet is close to all that Felton has to offer. We also enjoyed our many conversations with Beth, one of the campground hosts. She seemed to really enjoy her job. We would highly recommend this place.

We had such a wonderful stay at Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the entire property feels very well cared for. Everything is clean and well maintained, from the campsites to the common areas. The bathrooms were spotless, which made the trip extra comfortable. It is also a great spot for both families and dog owners. We loved how dog friendly the resort is and our pup had the best time exploring and relaxing with us. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and family oriented, with plenty of space to enjoy the redwoods all around. Highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a clean, friendly, and relaxing getaway in the Santa Cruz area. We will definitely be back!

We loved this campsite! The people who worked there were so friendly and welcoming and the campground is absolutely gorgeous. Our site was also spacious and even though there were lots of other people there, we felt 'secluded' and like we were in nature. Our kids enjoyed riding their bikes around and met lots of other kids while there. There's a nice playground, rec room and a lovely hike down to the river where we saw lots of banana slugs. We were also a minute from Henry Cowell where we enjoyed a nice hike. We didn't do the train ride, but maybe next time. We were also only 20 minutes from the Santa Cruz boardwalk. We only stayed one night but we all agreed we're going to need to come back and stay longer.

First time here this past weekend and loved it. Took us awhile to arrive due to a fire and roadwork. The lady working the check- in was super friendly. It’s a small resort but very well kept. I believe the site you have makes all the difference. It’s pretty tight and some sites are a little too close for comfort. Did see one guy having trouble parking because of the close proximity. With that being said, I also read reviews before we came so we knew what to expect. I would definitely comeback, we enjoyed our extended weekend amongst the beautiful trees. Thank you Santa Cruz Redwood Resort .

Great spot! We visited a week before Halloween and loved the Halloween decorations and being close to the river. So beautiful

This place is nice but the people who work here are so rude. It ruins the whole experience. I have actually never been treated so bad by anyone until I spoke to the staff at this place. I would recommend going to the rv resort right next door to them they at least speak nicer to there visitors

Incredible campground! There are redwood trees all throughout the campground. The river sites and the "eastern" sites along the creek are really nice. But honestly even the inner sites are not super cramped. We stayed at site 20 and it was really big (I tried showing a 36p view of the campsite through pictures. We loved eating on the deck by the clubhouse since the view was just amazing. We drove through Smithwoods RV park to compare with first impressions. And with a quick drive we surmised it was SO CRAMPED, all the sites were on top of each other. Also everyone was blasting music which is a huge no for me. I don't even like it when anyone does it! Listen to music in the trailer! If you have kids, or honestly even if you don't... you have to check out Roaring Camp Railroads, we had a blast.
