Sara's Campground

As most people note it is a little tight to maneuver a camper in and out of the park, even if the camper is small. The camp spaces are very close but it still manages to feel cozy and friendly. Although we never met any hosts a very clear packet of information was left at our site, and we received a phone message with clear instructions. This campground is pet friendly and we enjoyed our stay immensely. So relaxing and surrounded by such a beautiful State Park.

Love this campground! We stay at the on-beach tent sites during off-peak times (it does get busy and crowded). Bathrooms are clean, they have showers $0.25 per 5 minutes, laundry and other amenities. The office people are friendly and accommodating. Update: 9-19-25 Great as ever!

The young girl who took our order was so patient and pleasant! We had a family of 5 and she got every order perfect!!! Food was delicious and served in probably less than 10 minutes!!

Cheesy food and expensive. Years ago, the food and service was excellent and nothing could compare. Condiments are regulated, the server/ workers are barely competent. The owner has tightened the belt on cost vs. Service too much..you have lost your touch in our community..very sad.

Amazing place!! A family friendly camp sits. The sunsets are gorgeous and the people there are so sweet, very kind people. The tent camping sits were prefect! The lake was beautiful. Definitely recommend! I hope everyone who goes here has the best time!

Booked last minute tent camping on the beach. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly people all around. Nice clean facilities. I'd come back for sure. Great listening to the tide while sleeping.

We stayed here on Sat April 26/14 - $35 or $17.50 with PA - the RV park is across the road from the office and Lake Erie - cement slabs with big enough sites but there are lots of RV's parked year round and would be packed in the summer due to the lake being right there and very few RV Parks along Lake Erie. But was good for an overnighter heading back to Ontario. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
