If anyone is trying to rent a space at Sunny South RV resort I would think twice. The manager, isn’t a very nice or accommodating person if there’s any issues it is really hard to resolve them with her or the owners at Zeman homes. If you try to contact Zeman homes. They don’t even have the decency to get back to you.

We have stayed here going on our third time and the stay has been nothing but pleasant. The staff are all awesome people and they are always ready to assist.

We stayed there three years ago, small spaces, but level. We saw, at that time, the RVs older than ten years were not welcome. So, I guess no matter how well you keep your rig, it’s considered trailer trash after that. Our RV is 8 years old, but now we’re informed it’s too short (25’ minimum). That should be clearly stated in their advertisement - old and rich only need apply.

Small sites on crushed shell pad with a concrete patio. Fairly private despite being small. We have a class A coach and parked easily. Despite not answering the phone when we called things worked out very well. We had to have the breaker replaced in our power column and they tended to it properly the next morning - we had a 50-30 converter that got us through till then. Resort had a nice pool, a tiki hut and an excellent dog park. The fitness room and club house were well equipped. We were invited to a brunch and the residents/guests were all very friendly. The location is ideal for access to Sarasota and to Siesta Key. All and all a great stay.

We travel for work a lot in our RV and have been in the Sarasota area multiple times in the past 6 months. This is our first time staying here and it definitely will not be the last. We had interactions with Lindsay and Allison and both were very informative, helpful, friendly and professional. Due to work, we did not have the opportunity to visit the clubhouse or pool but plan to next time. The grounds are kept immaculate and even though we were situated facing the road, there was no problem with noise. If we had to find an issue, it would be pricing which changes daily. I don’t really understand that as most places go by season. Over all, it truly is a great place and located conveniently to shopping and beaches~The Cooks

Not worth the $. Salt water pool was nice. Tiki bar. Pool tables and nice indoor meeting place! Weird that the 2 outer roads are shared with local traffic, not within the campground!

I live around the corner from here. Very well kept. Everybody is friendly. Pet friendly. It even has a dog park. Not far from Siesta Key and Turtle Beaches

Quiet, great place for 55 and older. In residential area so you can walk at anytime.

My husband and I stayed here from 4/2 - 4/9/21... Our site was pretty spacious with vinyl fencing dividers between sites, which I thought was a great idea as it offered us privacy. Pool was clean with plenty of tables and chairs, plus a huge tiki hut if you prefer shade🌞. Dog park was huge and clean. Location is very close to Siesta Beach...Lindsey in the office was super nice..we will definitely be returning😀
