Lovely campground! It’s right on the edge of the small town of Saratoga WY. It’s also a 7 minute drive to the free local hot springs! Which are a must visit while you’re staying here, plus they have showers! The campground has $15 non electric sites and $25 electric site. Pay with cash by using the red fee envelopes. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Vault toilets for bathrooms. The road to the campground has some potholes but overall it’s fine. There is also cell service here! I stayed here for a night in November while I was hiking in Medicine Bow National Forest (which is an incredible area!) Hope this helps!

Free hot springs! But leave a donation because it’s worth a charge. Only 20 miles off of I 80 and we always stop on our journey east!

Great camping spot only 20 minutes off the freeway, very clean and very affordable, big thank you to the staff here though we didn't see them at all!

Spent a Sunday night in early September 2025. It is a lovely quiet place to overnight. There was probably 10 to 12 other campers, looked like mostly other travelers. It was very quiet. Many sites with electricity. But as other reviews have said MOSQUITOS! We had to go in about 30 minutes before dark, around dusk, because the mosquitoes swarmed! It was like a cloud! I don't think mosquito repellent would have helped. Other than that it was lovely and going in a little early is no big deal. Enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. Take a look at the City of Saratoga website that talks about the lake. They also have a dump station just minutes away for $5

This campground was easy to get to and had plenty of electrical hook ups. It is $25 per night now if you hook up to electricity but it seems a sheriff patrols at night so we had no worries of thieves like a previous reviewer mentioned. The bugs are horrible but its to be expected near water. Over all a great place to stop!

Nice place on Saratoga Lake, offering outhouses and non potable water and electric sites as well as non electric. Very affordable and super convenient to the local hot springs. A visit is made even better with lots of waves, smiles and hellos. Feels like a great community.

Nice place to stop on the way through Wyoming or when enjoying the Saratoga Hobo Hot springs. I wouldn’t want to stay here for more than a night, perhaps if I was a fisherman. The lake was full of pelicans, they are always fun to see. Bathrooms were so clean. The tables really need to be replaced, very warped and wood is dry, dusty dry area of the country. Not much shade but that meant the night sky was fully exposed and we truly enjoyed the meteor shower. Lots of room here so I don’t think you would need to reserve. Small park available for kids. Also great water spigots throughout. So close to the amazing Medicine Bow National forest, we were amazed how much it rivaled some of our favorite sites at Glacier National Park. Definitely coming back to the area.

Our spot is pretty level. Beautiful clear lake with an abundance of critters.

Beautiful spot and I was told there will be pelicans in the morning. Nice fire pits, $10 to camp, $15 to glamp. I ask about the price before I got here. I got a bit confused that I couldn't find spot numbers and had difficulty finding the pay drop box, that dropped 1 star. Overall satisfied though.
