Reserved here for memorial day weekend. It was my first time at this campground. Had a great time! Bathrooms were stocked and well maintained. Love the floating dock! The fishing was great and plenty of room for activities. The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of lighting. There are no street lights in this campground. And the campsites don't have garbage cans but they have a dumpster at the entrance where you can drop off the trash. So still pretty cool.

Friendly and helpful Ranger helped us find the right spot. Grounds are well cared for and the lake looks promising for fish. Full service camp sites spaced well apart.

FHU campground on a beatiful little lake. I read online that it is First come First serve (not correct). You have to reserve online at recreation.gov, which is hard to do with barely any data coverage(verizon). The camp host WILL come check that you registered. Bathrooms need a good cleaning, no soap/dispenser to wash hands.

Our home away from home. It's very peaceful, and the boating is great. Very dog friendly and close to one of the swim beaches.

We arrived during wind and rain. I had been warned the site I had #66 would be submerged in water, so the gracious Host and I discussed it right away. I went to the reservation website, we rode around until we found one available for our week - that was on higher ground, #16. I changed the reservation and it was great. The weather cleared! The sewer hookup is a very long way from the camper, would need 4 hoses. The pad is level, but crumbling some. Had to take care of the ants. The bathhouse is fine, if you don't mind cobwebs. Nice people all around. I'm glad we chose this campground.
